Pre-Purim Lunch and Learn Series Come learn in our shul while enjoying a delicious catered lunch from Spicy Peach. We will study Megillat Esther in depth uncovering unique insights utilizing both traditional and modern commentators. Lunch is $10 and must be ordered in advance each week at www.yith.org/lunchnlearn. Mishloach Manot Making Come make Mishloach Manot that will be distributed out to the elderly on Purim day with One Good Deed. Sunday, March 1st at 9:15am. We will go from Mishloach manot making to join the YITH group in the Purim Parade. Parents please meet the group at YITH to walk your children to the parade start. Toco Hills Purim Parade Join YITH and Bnei Akiva at the Purim parade! The parade will begin at the Toco Hills shopping center down Lavista Rd. and starts at 11:00am Sunday, March 1st, meet at Pike’s Nursery at 10:15 am. We’ll be the ones with the festive Bnei Akiva float! Mishloach Manot with One Good Deed Adults and kids are all invited to help us distribute the delicious mishloach manot made by the YITH Youth to the elderly in conjunction with One Good Deed on Thursday, March 5th at 1:00pm Open House at the Starrs Share the Purim spirit with Rabbi Starr and Talya at their home (1682 Rosemont Place) with a L’Chaim, some food, songs and words of Torah. Thursday, March 5th from 1:30-3:30pm YITH Purim Seudah You are invited to the annual YITH Purim Seudah on Thursday, March 5th at 5:00pm! Enjoy a delicious Chinese banquet, music, and entertainment for both adults and kids! Members can enjoy the early bird price until Sunday, March 1st. Sponsorship of this event includes your meal. Sign up today at www.yith.org! Matanot Laevyonim Donate money to be distributed on Purim Day to Jews in need in Atlanta and Israel. You can bring your donation in to the office or give it to Rabbi Starr. Remember the words of Maimonides: “It is better to spend more gifts on the poor than on the Purim meal or Mishloach Manot.
