Note: USAR-CMP team and individual events do not supersede unit requirements, however we encourage unit commanders to understand the level of training, and team success coming from their Soldier/team member. Every effort will be made by the team leadership to provide official notification of upcoming events by memorandum format at least 30 days in advance of the the event.

Your participation is dependent upon your unit commander's cooperation. Will your unit commander be willing to sign a memo consenting to your participation with the Marksmanship Program as an additional duty?

Explain below why you feel you should be selected as a member of the USAR-CMP. List any skills that may be helpful to the team outside of marksmanship. There are 25 slots in each of the three primary USAR teams for active members, set yourself apart.

USAR-CMP is small program with minimal administrative support. It is vital that you maintain your personal military responsibilities by ensuring your MEDPROS, APFT, weight, and online training stays in the green. Participating in USAR-CMP requires that you adhere to the standards of AR670-1 while representing the USAR-CMP. Note: The USAR-CMP will not endorse or appear to endorse any commercial firm or product (see AR 360–1 and Department of Defense (DOD) 5500.07–R).
