EXPLORATION TRAINING

PO3 Mahoney wanted to learn new things and Exploration had just what he was looking for. “I love the training and can’t wait to learn more new things.”

Cadet Morris joined Exploration to learn more about the NLCC’s opportunities. “I love trainings and going off-base on field trips.”

Cadet Vincente Cortez wanted to try new things so he signed up for Exploration because it sounded different. “My favorite part of training is PT.”

PO3 Hurtado wanted to try something new, so he signed up for Exploration. “This has been my favorite training. It’s awesome.”

FIELD MEDICAL TRAINING

CADETS OF THE DAY

Cadet Haddad, J has been having a lot of fun at training. “I’m having a great time at this training. I really like taking care of people.”

PO2 O’Boyle says, “We learn a lot of stuff and it can be hard to comprehend. But, if you know how it works, you will remember it forever.”

PO3 Fabiani-Wyatt joined NLCC because he wanted to learn more about the Navy and he liked the way NLCC ran things. “I rate this training a 10 out of 10.”

PO3 Fuller really likes being in the NLCC. “I chose this training because I knew it would help me in my everyday life.”

PO1 Healey joined the NLCC looking for some-thing good to go on his resume. “I chose Field Medical because I have a natural attraction to medicine and I like helping people.”

ENS Wright has been with the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps for over 2 years. “This has been one of the best experiences of my life. I’m so privileged to serve these cadets and their families through my photography. I look forward to a long career of volunteering with the USNSCC and USNLCC. ”

PO2 Nguyen, A says, “I am learning new things about photography and having fun taking pictures. I’m having a lot of good times with my shipmates.”

NLCC ORIENTATION – PORT

CADETS OF THE DAY

Cadet Hebert loved the simulators and learning all the commands. When asked why he liked the program, he said “it teaches kids about respect and the military.”

Cadet Horgan likes everything about the program. In his 6 months he has enjoyed learning military instructions. “I want to join the Navy when I grow up and do Surface Warfare.”

Cadet Eggers has been in the program for 3 years. He loves helping people. His favorite memory was when “we helped kids at the naval air base to have a great Christmas.”

Cadet Higuera has been in the program for 3 months. His favorite things about the program are “having a good time and meeting new people. You also get experiences others won’t get.”

NLCC ORIENTATION – STARBOARD

Cadet Kornaros thinks, “Sea Cadets and Navy

League looked real fun so I joined.”

Cadet Nguyen said, “I wanted to learn how the Navy worked and how the military does things.”

Cadet Bagnol says, “So far, Orientation has

been very fun.”

Cadet Friedmann said, “I joined the NLCC because I wanted to learn more about the Navy.”

Cadet Barajas said, “I believe says, “I believe

the NLCC will offer me a better future.”
