Over recent years, Northumbria has invested signicant resources to ensure students can experience world-class sport services in state- of-the-art facilities. Holding a top 10 place in the British University Athletic standings Northumbria is ranked 8th for Sport in the UK. Support Packages Northumbria University oers one of the UK’s leading higher education per formance support programmes. As a Northumbria athlete you’ll gain access to an unrivalled package of athletic and academic support including; sport-specic coaching, physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, sport psychology, performance analysis and sport science support all delivered delivered in our £30m Sport Central facility. Athletic Programmes We run performance programmes in 24 dierent sports, but we are particularly keen to hear from student- athletes interested in joining one of our following performance programmes*; American Football (also for those with an interest in a talent transfer to Rugby union) Basketball Golf Lacrosse Snowsports (Ski/Snowboar d racing and Freestyle) Soccer Squash Swimming Tennis Volleyball Water polo Athletic Scholarships Every year Northumbria awards generous Athletic Scholarships to talented athletes studying at Northumbria University. Fees and Living Costs Our undergraduate and postgraduate fees for 2016/17 range from £11,500 – £16,000. For subject specic fees please visit our international webpage. Study Abroad fees are £5000 per semester. Estimated living costs are a minimum of £820 per month. US Federal Aid US students attending Northumbria University are able to apply for Direct and PLUS loans up to their Cost of Attendance (CoA). CoA covers tuition, housing, travel, return ights, food, books and other legitimate expense. Northumbria University’s FAFSA Federal School Code is G30395.
