The American flag
The American flag is called "the Stars and Stripes". It has got
fifty stars, each one for each state, six white strapes and seven red strapes.
Every morning, american
schoolchildren say
in front of the American flag.

That pledge means that we promise to be loyal to the flag and to the
United States of America.

Is a sculpture carved into the granite face of Mount Rushmore near Keystone.

Las Vegas is a famous city known for their enormous casinos (it has more than 15 casinos).The recently film "The Hangover" (in spanish "Resacón en Las Vegas") made it more famous even.

Famous sports in the USA
The teams play in the Mayor League Baseball which was
founded in 1896. The must be 9 players for each team to play a match. There are 30
team in the MLS.
For playing baseball we need three important things:
-A bat-A small leather ball-A hat or a helmet

It's probably the most famous sport in the USA. There's a lot of basketball courts in every city of the USA and
people wearing a shirt of some basketball team as for example Los
Angeles Lakers or Chicago Bulls.

It is a sport played between two teams of eleven with the objective of scoring points by advancing the ball into the
opposing team's end zone. It's different from rugby because players wear a
helmet and different protections in the rest of the body.
The Super Bowl is the championship game of the National Football League (NFL), the highest level of professional American football in the United States
Animals in the USA
Praire dogs live on the grasslands or prairies, They bark like dogs and
they look like squirrels. They mainly eat eat plants but they also eat
some insects
PRAIRIE DOGS
The grizzly bear is also called the brown bear. Grizzlies live in the mountains and in some coastal
areas. They eat platns and animals. The like fish very much.
GRIZZLY BEARS
Alligators are reptiles. They live in rivers and lakes. Alligators live for about fifty
years. An adult alligator can weigh between 360 and 450 kilos and is about
4 meters long.The name "alligator comes from the Spanish word "lagarto", which
Spanish explorers called them
ALLIGATORS
Racoons live in forests. They are nocturnal animals. Their fur is greyish but the faces have black and white masks. In spring and
early summer, they eat insects, worms and other animals. In late summerand in the autumn, they like eating fruit and nuts.

Americans sometimes call it "buffalo". It has a long dark brown winter coat and a lighter brown summer coat. It mainly eat grass. The bison is the largest mammal in the USA. Bison are about 2 meters tall and 4 meters long. Their horns can grow
to about 20 cm. It is the official mammal of the states of Kansas, Wyoming and Oklahoma.

Bald eagles live near the sea, lakes or rivers
because their main diet is fish. They also eat birds
and mammals. Bald eagles are large birds, with brown feathers and a white head
and tail

Is a food paste made primarily from ground dry roasted peanuts. It is mainly used as a sandwich spread, sometimes in
combination as in the peanut butter and jelly sandwich. January 24 is National Peanut Butter Day in the United States.
PEANUT BUTTER
Marshmallows are a kind of sweet made by sugar, syrup, and water. A popular camping tradition is the roasting or toasting of marshmallows over a campfire or other open flame. A marshmallow is placed on the end of a stick and held carefully over the fire.
