INTRODUCTIONDear student, this course has been designed for you to use wherever and whenever you want. By just turning on your computer or your phone and logging in to the blog by following the attached instructions, you get the relevant information about the English course. You will also be able to communicate with the teacher and request for assistance. Beside that, you can communicate with your peers to exchange opinions by commenting on the blog at the end of every topic displayed in the educational blog.

To start using the blog, the following are necessary:First: Objectives of the blogThe blog aims to electronically present the English language course for the secondary three class, unit 4.Second: Topics of the BlogThe blog displays lessons of unit four of the text book and includes the following:Lesson one conversationLesson two conversation practice Lesson three GrammarLesson 4 ReadingLesson 5 Word studyLesson 6 Revision

Fourth: Entering the blogWhen you want to enter the blog for the English course, you have to follow these steps.1.Turn on you computer by pressing the power button.2.Click on the internet browser software you have in your computer.3.In the address bar, type the following: http:\\ Saudi-english.blogspot.comThe following page will appear:

4.When you enter the blog, click the manual to learn about the blog’s components and how to use them.

Fifth: Components of the Educational BlogThe( Home page) of the educational blog consists of the following:1.Address: it appears in the beginning of the page.(LEARN ENGLISH)2.Below the address, there is the link “home” when clicked, opens the main page. And the link “contact me” when clicked, opens a new window to allow you send an email to the author of the blog.3.Entries: they are located at the left side right under the title and every entry contains the content of the lesson in slides form.4.At the end of an entry, there are activities which students are supposed to accomplish.

5.At the end of each entry, there is “comment”, click it to see the comments or for adding a comment.

6. At the right side, there are secondary sections as follows:•Searching engine to be used to search for information within the blog•Links to other" useful blogs and websites"• “the author” for introducing the teacher.•Sections of the blog where topics are organized in the blog according to lessons as follows:

•Lesson one•Lesson two …. And so forth.

•Pages: A page for the manual that explains how to use any of the blog’s elements and another page for the objectives of unit four.•Archive of the blog: it contains all past topics added to the blog.•Current users: displays the number of visitors of the blog at any given moment.•At the end of the page, there is a Google searching engine to be used when necessary.

Sixth: Using the blog:

After the opening the main page of the educational blog, do the following:

1-Go to the sections of the educational blog and then point - using the mouse – at any lesson, then click with the mouse’s left button once on the lesson you want to access.

2-When entering any lesson, you will find the academic content relevant to the topic of a lesson with some educational activities which are placed at the end of the lesson or below the lesson. 3 -At the end of each entry, there is a link for comments to help you add a comment on that lesson.

4 -To add a comment in the space provided, click on the word “comments” and a window will open for you as follows:

5-Type in your comment(in English language) and click the preview icon to review your comment , a window will open for you as follows:

Sign in with the user name and pass word given you by your teacher, then press the “add comment” to add the comment to the lesson that you opened .

6 -To get information about the teacher, you can click on the “ the author” icon placed at the top right corner of the page.

7 -When you face a problem about any point, go to the manual page placed on the right side.

8-To contact and send an email to the author of the blog ,click (contact me)the following page will appear:

Write your name, your e-mail and your message. then click( send e-mail)

9 -To go back to past lessons, you may click on the “Archive” icon.

10 -You can see the number of visitors of the blog

which appears at the bottom of the page in the right side. 11 -When you need to search for a specific topic, you can type in the required words in the Google search engine at the end of the page, a window will appear at the top of the blog, click (web)and then you get all topics relevant to the words entered at the search engine.

12 -When you need to search within the blog, you can type the required word or topic for search within the blog at the top right corner.
