Use of Multimedia Services and Podiums on Campus

Multimedia Staff is responsible for approximately 400 classrooms, conference
rooms, podium upgrades, and event support on all campuses.
Staff includes Coordinator, two full-time techs, Multimedia engineer,
and four part-time techs
Staff is available to assist from 7:30am-8pm during the semester Monday through Friday
Weekend coverage is based on conference center/event use
Bldg. 12 (Ponitz Center) coverage from 7am-8pm on average, 6 or seven days per week
Please Use the Event Reservation Request in HEAT (Helpdesk)….Plan ahead! We may not be
able to support your event!
1) Please call the Helpdesk, do not try to “fix” it yourself.2) Be specific and give as much detail as possible.3) Please let helpdesk know if it is an emergency.4) Let helpdesk know if it is ok to enter the room.

The first couple weeks of class, response may be slower. Be patient.
Please bother us! You are our source for information!
1)Please do not eat or drink on the podiums, or store food in them.
2) Please do not unplug anything from the PC or systems (i.e. audio cables)
3) Please do not reconfigure monitors4) Please leave amps powered on
5) Have a backup plan
