Word Cloud – Tagzedo

Get students to geenrate a Word Cloud as an image for their classroom / as a homework task on related topics

Useful for lower level learners Display key words related to a topic, quotes

Shorten long url – Tiny URL

Give students a short URL address to go to – easier for them to type a shorter adress Embed tiny urls into resources, Moodle, twitter – it uses less characters

Generate a QR code

Use as an energiser / leson starter activity Link a website, a list of words, videos etc Check if students have a QR barcode scanner app on their mobile phones before you plan

this activity Embed the QR code into a worksheet and let students scan their homework task s they leave

Instant feedback Online Polls (Comments wall and quizzes)

Feedback remains anonymous It is FREE and there are no spam texts if you respond using your mobile Create either a comments wall or ask students to vote on a topic using a multiple choice

response Vote by texting, visiting a website, twitter, by sending a link You can turn off the voting system when you are ready Only 40 responses allowed per poll Gather feedback on a question to check learning or to get students’ opinions
