Basic Features

1. Works on any TV, Projector and LCD display with HDMI port.

2. Support iOS, Android & Windows8.1 OS miracast function.

3. Miracast the medias from mobile terminal devices onto iCast for playing; Support Pushing local media files in

the mobile devices onto iCast for playing; Support pushing network streaming medias onto iCast for playing via

mobile devices.

4. Support sharing local image, music and video of mobile phones/ tablets/ PC, support Youku video, Youtube,

Souhu online videos, support Office/ PDF/ Mac OS Page, and support sharing QQLive, Souhu Video, PPTV... by

DLNA.

5. Support HDMI 1080P output.

Connection and Using

1. Connect Dongle to TV HDMI port.

2. Turn on TV, and adjust TV signal source to corresponding input channel, if you connect to HDMI 1, then

choose HDMI 1 input channel.

3. Supply power to Dongle by USB cable, here the USB cable could connect to Mobile phone charger or plug the

USB cable to the TV, power consumption must be at least 1A.

4. After the Dongle turn on, the TV screen will show Boots screen, and then enter into Main interface.

These information will be displayed on the TV screen:

Name of LAN: JYD-xxxxxx, Password:12345678.

Web page setting IP address: 192.168.49.1

iCast Dongle is in the mode of DLNA, AirPlay&AirPlay Mirroring

DLNA, AirPlay&AirPlay Mirroring MODE

IOS：AirPlay Mirroring

1. Enter into WiFi setting to connect iCast device JYD-XXXXXX,password:12345678

2. Upturn the administration center menu of iPhone/ iPad, to find Airplay option, and click it to choose iCast

device JYD-XXXXXX.

3. Open Mirroring option and click ‘Done’, then finished.

●DLNA&Airplay

1. Use mobile phone or pad to connect iCast dongle JYD-XXXXXX, input password 12345678. Then you can start

to push local music, video and image in your Android/ iOS devices now.

Tips：Android mobile phone/ pad need the third party APK to push multi-media, such as PPTV, Souhu Video and

QQLive.

2. After local connection, input 192.168.49.1 in the browser and enter into setting page, then choose a router to

connect.

3.After iCast connected to router, you can start to push both online video and local video.

Miracast MODE

●Miracast Function

Short press button on the device to change iCast mode to Miracast mode, as the picture:

1. Turn on the WiFi of the mobile phone/ pad, enter into display settings to choose wireless display option, find the iCast device and click JYD-XXXXXX to connect.

2. After connected, mirror the content on mobile phone/ pad screen to bigger screen devices.

Tips: To use Miracast function,mobile phone/ pad needs Android 4.2 OS or above and support wireless display function.

FAQ：

Q: Can not find device name of iCast

A: Check the wifi cable to make sure it is plugged well, or make sure the iCast is in the Miracast MODE, because

the device name can not be fond in Miracast MODE.

Q: WiFi of iCast can not be connected, and quit after connected.

A: Generally because the password is not correct, pls input the password again: 12345678

Q: Freezing or long time buffering when pushing local contents.

A: Pls keep the WiFi netcard away from TV and without shelter, or try to get near the iCast.

Q: Freezing or long time buffering when internet VOD.

A: Because there are too many WiFi signal around you which will cause congested river; Or the signal of the

router is too weak, pls set the router position to make sure iCast can get a better WiFi signal.

Q: Contents from some video websites can not be pushed.

A: Because these video websites don’t support DLAN/Airplay protocol, and the video websites must support

DLNA/ Airplay protocol if want to use on-line VOD pushing.

Q: Videos taken by phone/tablets can not play.

A: Because compress formats are different in each phone, iCast can not promise to support all formats, but we

are working on it.

Q: Can not use Miracast.

A: Pls make sure iCast in Miracast MODE, you can change mode by press the button on iCast. iCast can not

promise to support all phones, but we are working on it.
