Step Procedures Reference

1 During registration, ensure you receive an IPS MOOC card from IPS UMP. Use your smart phone QR code scanner to scan the QR code to access the registration form.

2 This Google is created to

acquire student information for the course registration to www.cistrec20.com Student Name : Full name as stated in Identity Card or Passport e-mail address : email address use as sign in ID and receive message from system Student ID : Registered student ID with IPS UMP IC number or passport number Full IC no. or passport number without “-“. This information will be use as the sign in password Contact Number : Mobile phone number where system admin able to contact for further clarification or updates.

After fill in the form, please wait for 2-3 working days before receive notification email from www.cistrec20.com

3 Sign in to www.cistrec20.com [Step a] to access learning material, assessment and online face-to-face interaction with IPS MOOC research methodology subject matter expert Use your registered email address & IC number or passport number to sign in. [Step b] For student account, the feature remain as “Associating” If you encounter any error in sign in to your user account, please click reset password. [Step c]

4 Once you successfully sign in,

your program will be display at the dashboard side bar. [step a]. Click the program IPS Research Methodology to access the learning material & Assessment & face-to-face interaction. p.s. If you can’t locate this program, please contact the program facilitator Dr. Gan Leong Ming ming@ump.edu.my or proceed to self-enrolment procedures.

5 After click program name [Step a], please go to learning block [Step b] and then select the desired learning module name [Step c] to access the module content.

For quick access to the learning material, please click summary [Step d] and then click the file name to access the learning video (CLO, TLO and etc) or presentation slides [Step e] To begin the assessment & interaction, please click evaluation [Step f] and then click “start” to begin the evaluation or interaction. [Step g] p.s. Please make sure you are ready before click “start” button. Student has only one attempt to click this button for each evaluation or interaction. Once student click to begin the assessment, system will open the assessment question paper. Click “START QUIZ” [Step h] and then fill in student detail, click “SUBMIT” [Step i] to begin the assessment. ONLINE INTERACTION Once student click “START” [Step j] for online face-to-face interaction, student will see the following message:

face session. Remember to check with IPS on face-to-face time table before submit attendance. Click online interaction to reach www.zoom.us/join Key in the Meeting ID provide in the interaction description [Step k] and update your user name (please use your own name) to begin the online face-to-face with lecturer. SOP for online face-to-face: i. Always turn on video

Click Program Progress to update student access duration [Step b] and competency summary. [Step c] Student must achieve TOTAL 80/100 and above to pass IPS Research Methodology MOOC Click Activity Summary to update on assessment and interaction progress. [Step d] Student must complete all tasks listed in IPS Research Methodology MOOC Click Evaluation Detail to update the latest performance/Marks Distribution. [Step e]

Filter search by “Classified” [Step b] Click the program and key in Passcode for validation. Please contact IPS MOOC facilitator Dr. Gan Leong Ming ming@ump.edu.my to acquire passcode. After validation, select the desired group and click “ENROLL” [Step d] After that, click “CONFIRM” [Step e] to continue the enrolment process Once successfully enrolled, your program will be listed at the dashboard side bar [Step f]
