Understanding your Summary page

Activating/Deactivating pages

Before each page name there are buttons to activate or deactivate that page. This feature allows you to build pages “behind the scenes” or if you have pages that are only used at certain times, you can take them offline when they are not in use. This saves you time building pages, deleting them and having to rebuild them again the next time you use them. Click on the “status” button to deactivate or reactivate a page.

Organizing your web pages

On the top of the Summary page there is an “Organize Pages” button

You can sort your pages by

1. Drag and drop or

2. A-Z

Be sure to SAVE after every change

Editing your pages

To edit a specific page, just click on the name of that page

Editing your pages

You can add or delete a page here from the action drop down.

Please note! You can edit but NOT delete the Overview Page. This is the welcome page to your site and Schoolwires retains that page to help viewers find their way around without confusion.

Editing a page

When you click on a page name the content widget will open for that page. This widget appears very similar to Word and it functions like a word processor with a lot more capabilities.

You just type the information you want in this white section. There is no code or special characters needed. Its like writing a letter or making a sign.

Explore the various icons at the top to learn what you can do.
