►Don’t need a lot of licenses – possibly only one or two for support staff

►Can license for simultaneous use

Other software and portable files

►Having shown a conversion utility, note that most software packages have the ability to open files in non-native formats

►SPSS and SAS have “portable” or “transfer” formats that allow for files to be moved between versions and operating systems E.g., a user has an earlier version of the

software and can’t read the current SPSS format
