1. Open iPhoto.!2. Select the picture you want to use from your photo library.!3. Optional: make a duplicate of the picture so you can retain an original, unblurred image. To

make a duplicate:!A. Select the desired photo;!B. Click on the “Photos” drop-down menu;!C. Select “Duplicate.”!

4. Double click on the duplicate photo to open it.!5. Click the “Edit” button in the lower right corner to open the photo editing menu.!

6. Click the “Retouch” button.!

!!7. Resize the retouch tool so that it is larger than the eye area of the face you want to blur.!

8. Click the cursor over the parts of the photo you wish to blur to apply the retouch tool. You will be able to undo mistakes at this point.!

!9. When you have blurred the desired parts of the photo, click the “Done” button by the “Retouch” tool options. Your edited photo will be saved in your default file format (probably jpg). The photo is now ready for use on your ALSC Blog post with proper attribution.!!
