A. APPLY BORDERS TO A WORKSHEET

Open MS Excel program and specified workbook.

Activate targeted cell or cells.

Go to the toolbar and click FORMAT.

Click CELLS.

a) Select a border styleb) Select a line style c) Select a line color

Click OK when finished.

At the Format Cells dialog box, click the Borders tab.

Save work and exit the program.

B. APPLY SHADING TO A WORKSHEET

Open MS Excel program and specified workbook

Activate targeted cell or cells.

Go to the toolbar and click FORMAT.

Click CELLS.

At the Format Cells dialog box, click the PATTERNS tab.

In the Cell Shading section, choose a color from the Color Palette.

Click OK when finished.

Save work and exit the program.
