Using Quick Parts in Microsoft Outlook

If you use standard e-mail replies that you send to clients, you can use Quick Parts in Microsoft Outlook as an easy way to add messages.

First, make sure the text is selected

Go to the Insert ribbon and choose Quick Parts, then Save Selection to Quick Parts Gallery.

Give the new building block a short name, above I have used ‘re1’ (reply 1), then click OK or press Enter on your keyboard.

To add to your Quick Part to an empty e-mail, either select the Quick Part as shown or type the name (in this case re1) in the body of your e-mail and press the F3 key at the top of your keyboard.

• Quick Parts will allow you to add images and is also available in Microsoft Word.
