The Smart Board Interface – Can you remember the tools? (Please refer to your notes …)
A) Gallery Essentrials

Click on the picture frame image You will get another menu
Click on the Interactive and multimedia bar Various icons will appear – either double click or drag and drop the one
you want onto the flip chat.They are in alphabetical order, but you can also type what you want in the search bar on topTHE DICE
Use this when you want to play a game and there is no dice available. Drag the dice onto the flip chart, you can put on more than one Either click or touch the dice on the board and they will spin

THE TIMER
Scroll down to ‘T’ icons Double click or drag the timer onto the flip chart Set the timer for a given exercise For example: write down all the words you can think of related
to the word WORK
B) Lesson Activity Toolkit – GAMES
1) VORTEX
Click on PICTURE FRAME icon Click on LESSON ACTIVITY TOOLKIT Then click on INTERACTIVE AND MULTIMEDIA bar. You will find a number of templates for interactive games.

For example: VORTEX(Note there are a number of different colours for each game, just choose the one you like best)
Be sure you click the full screen icon so you can work easily|
Click the EDIT button
Write the TWO categories you want to recycle in boxes labled VORTEX LABEL 1 and VORTEX LABEL 2
Click ROTATE VORTICES (See below) Then click ON OK

You will get the following screen
Students move the correct box into the correct vortex. Click RESET if you want to do it again.
WORD GUESS

Click on Edit and you will get the following screen
Notice you have SOCCER on top. Click on the arrow and you will also get BASKETBALL and TOMATO
SPLAT We are going to look at SOCCER Put in vocabulary you want to recycle and a clue Click OK

Click on a letter If it’s correct it will
