The bank wanted to build a computerized business process management system that could streamline and centralize its processes, and—at the same time—ensure the bank’s compliance with local regulations.

MB Bank CIO, Hoc Nguyen Xuan, said: “Our bank is the only bank that always grows in the Vietnamese market. So, we needed to make sure every task could be done as smoothly and quickly as possible. We chose webMethods because it meets our criteria as well as passes our rigorous tests.”

The bank’s initial solution was to take webMethods Business Process Management Suite (BPMS) to help tie together its many disparate systems. It immediately gained end-to-end control and visibility of its processes, enabling it to align business with IT when creating solutions.

Most recently, MB Bank has implemented webMethods CentraSite for API management and SOA. CentraSite enabled the bank to create a central, platform-independent application for defining, storing and describing assets. It can now re-use its data in all its branches and subsidiaries, reducing the need for manual intervention and giving the team back hours of working time.

MB Bank processes around 30,000 tasks per day for nearly 3,000 users with webMethods.
