All dogs must be on lead. No dogs will be tied out. All dogs not competing must remain away from the ring. Also please clean up your mess and your dog’s mess. Trash bags are available from the Show Secretary’s table.
Directions to show: From 417 onto 434, go East 1 mile to DeLeon St and make a left. Go to stop sign, make a left and continue on DeLeon St and then make a right onto Florida Ave. Go 1.2 miles to Elm and make a left. Go to stop sign and make a right onto Howard. Go 7/10 of a mile and turn right onto Orange. Orange dead ends onto SCO’s property. Signs will be posted.

Breed Suitability Test The BST is designed to select those Rottweilers that are worthy of being bred. The dog’s confirmation must be judged or breeding quality and free of disqualifying faults. The dog must have a valid OFA or GDC number or a rating of HD-or HD+/- and have a tattoo for identification. Once the confirmation and soundness qualifications have been meet the dog’s temperament is tested. This test includes a gun sureness test, a protection test, and test to ensure the dog is stable around public. The USRC strongly believes that these tests are vital to maintain the Rottweiler in type and in temperament.
Copies of the following documents must be submitted with
BST entry. 1. Copy of USRC Membership Card for both owner and handler. 2. Copy of USRC Registration for the dog being entered. 3. Copy of scorebook showing titles earned, scorebook number, and full name of dog. If the BH is earned after the close of entries, a copy of the scorebook showing the BH title must be presented to the BST secretary on the day of the Breed Test. 4. Copy of USRC recognized Hip Certification. All dogs must have their permanent identification indicated on their Hip Certification. 5. Copy of any prior BST attempts. 6. Copy of Weight Certificate dated within 30 days of the test date. 7. A copy of the USRC Registration Certificate may be accepted as proof of titles earned and hip certification if the required information appears on the Registration Certificate. BST PROCEDURE 1. Dogs will be measured and must show correct dentition. 2. Dog must walk on loose lead through a crowd of people. 3. Two gunshots will be fired from 15 to 20 ft. away to note the dog’s
reaction. 4. Attack on handler. 5. Courage test.
Puppy Classes
4-6 Month: For all Rottweilers between the age of 4-6 months. 6-9 Month: For all Rottweilers between the age of 6-9 months. 9-12 Month: For all Rottweilers between the age of 9-12 months.
Youth Classes
12-18 Month: For all Rottweilers between the age of 12-18 months. 18-24 Month: For all Rottweilers between the age of 18 –24 months.
Adult Classes
Open: For all Rottweilers 24 months and older without a USRC recognized Schutzhund or IPO title, Championship or USRC Sieger/Siegerin Title. Once a dog is eligible for the Champion, Working or Sieger/Siegerin class, the dog may not enter the Open Class. Champion: For all Rottweilers 24 months and older who have earned a Championship. This includes AKC and CKC Champions, International FCI Champions and any champion of record from a country whose Championship was awarded by an FCI recognized kennel club. When a dog is eligible for more than one class (i.e., Champion, Working and/or Veteran), the dog’s owner determines the entry. Working: For all Rottweilers 24 months and older with a USRC recognized Schutzhund or IPO title who have not earned a USRC Sieger or Siegerin title.
Sieger/Siegerin: For all Rottweilers 24 months and older who have earned a Sieger or Siegerin title from a USRC National or Regional Show or have been awarded the USRC Universal Sieger or Siegerin title. Dogs eligible to enter the USRC Sieger or Siegerin class may not enter the Open, Champion or Working class; however, the dog may enter the Veteran Class if age permits. Veteran Male/Female (optional): For all Rottweilers 7 years or older on the day of the show. Veterans are not eligible for Select awards and receive only critiques, no ratings or placements.
Non Regular Classes (Optional) Kennel Group – Entered by the Kennel Owner. Three or more dogs bred by the Kennel Owner and registered with the Kennel Name of the entrant. The Kennel Owner need not be the registered owner of the dogs. All dogs must first be entered in the show’s original classes. Written critiques are not given. Brood Bitch – Entered by the owner of the brood bitch. The brood bitch and at least two of her produce must appear in the ring. The bitch must have a USRC recognized Breed Test and have been at least 24 months of age at the time of the breeding. The class is to be evaluated on the merits of the produce. The owner of the brood bitch need not be the owner of the produce. The produce must first be entered in the show’s regular classes. Written critiques are not given. Stud Dog – Entered by the owner of the stud dog. The stud dog and at least two of his get must appear in the ring. The dog must have a recognized USRC Breed Test and have been at least 24 months of age at the time of the breeding. The class is to be evaluated on the merits of the get. The get must first be entered in the show’s regular classes. Written critiques are not given.

Your dog's original registration, hip certification (when applicable) and support documents for all accomplishments and titles MUST be available at the show for inspection at the time of the class. Effective January 1, 2006, all dogs entered in USRC sanctioned events who are 30 months of age and older must possess a USRC recognized hip certification, whether pass or fail, which will be indicated in the event catalog. No dogs with missing teeth will be allowed to be shown. Broke teeth, still
visible in the mouth will be evaluated at the judge's discretion.
Dogs born in countries where docking is forbidden by law, shall be shown with the tail left in its natural state. This rule shall be effective for all dogs born on or after June 1, 1999.
