A-1 Auto Transport Scholarship
One award worth $1,000 will be awarded to any current, full- or part-time student of an
accredited Canadian or US educational institution. Student must have a minimum

Ad Standards Scholarship
Each year, Ad Standards offers two $1500 scholarships for post-secondary students. To
apply, students must be enrolled in an undergraduate advertising or marketing program at
a Canadian university or college. One scholarship is open to students attending a
primarily English post-secondary institution and one is open to students attending a
primarily French post-secondary institution. Successful applicants display a commitment
to volunteerism, a record of academic excellence, and an interest in pursuing a career in

Allied Van Lines Scholarship

Through an educational grant by AbbVie Corporation, the Crohn’s and Colitis
Foundation of Canada (CCFC) is offering scholarships to students living with
Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) who are entering into or currently attending a post-
secondary educational institution in the fall semester of the current year.

The Canadian Northern Studies Trust (CNST) is the awards program of the Association
of Canadian Universities for Northern Studies (ACUNS). It was established in 1982 to

The Auxiliary to Saanich Peninsula Hospital
Two $2,500 bursaries will be awarded annually, providing the applicants meet the
following criteria:
a) A graduate of School District 63;
b) OR has completed 100 hours of volunteer service within Saanich Peninsula
Hospital;
c) OR an immediate family member of an employee of Island Health at Saanich
Peninsula Hospital;
d) OR any Auxiliary member, or son or daughter or grandchild of an Auxiliary
member.
Each bursary will be awarded to a student entering a full-time academic curriculum in
Medical Science at any university or regional college in BC.

Azazie Scholarship
A $1,000 scholarship is available for high school seniors, college freshmen, and

Barry Sullivan, Q.C. Memorial Bursary
This fund was created to provide an annual bursary in one or more of the three disciplines
in which Barry Sullivan held a keen interest: law, education, and social work as it relates
to the abuse of children and victims of crime. Recipients will be selected from candidates
who have made significant contribution(s) to the advancement of their discipline, or who,
through a combination of academic achievement, community involvement, dedication,
and imagination in their studies, can be expected to do so in the future. Applicants should

BC Federation of Foster Parent Associations (BCFFPA) Scholarships
BCFFPA occasionally received funds from donors that they request to be put toward
scholarships for children and youth who were formerly in care. The Board of Directors
has outlined a General Scholarship Fund into which we can place donations from these
generous donors. Unless directed to do otherwise, scholarships will be distributed under
the name of the donor(s) until the funds are expended. One bursary will be distributed
annually to any youth who is or has been in the care of the Ministry and wants to pursue

The Canadian Academy of Engineering
In recognition of the importance of transportation and mobility design engineering for the
future of Canada, the Canadian Academy of Engineering (CAE) has partnered with the
SAE Foundation Canada to offer an undergraduate scholarship in transportation and
mobility engineering and an award for university students’ outstanding aerospace design.

Canadian Cancer Society Research Institute Grants and Travel Awards
A limited number of Travel Awards to PhD or MD/PhD students, and post-
doctoral/medical/clinical fellows are available. The purpose of this program is to help
cover the travel costs associated with making a scientific presentation as a first author or
presenter at a conference, symposium or other appropriate professional meeting. There
are three competitions per year. It is anticipated that up to 10 Travel Awards will be
awarded in each competition (30 awards per year). The Travel Award will be made to

Canadian Hydrographic Association Award
The Canadian Hydrographic Association offers funding to a full-time student in an
accredited postsecondary program in the field of Geomatics (the program must have a

Canadian Japanese Mennonite Scholarship
In 1984, MCC issued an apology, on behalf of Canadian Mennonites, to Canadian
Japanese for abuse suffered during World War II. This scholarship is a symbol of
cooperation between the two groups. The $2,000 scholarship funds research on the
protection of minority and human rights in Canada in order to reduce the potential for
abuse of cultural minorities. The National Association of Japanese Canadians and
Mennonite Central Committee Canada co-sponsor the scholarship.

CGTrader is the largest 3D model marketplace backed by the strong designer community
of more than 500k members. CGTrader was founded with the goal to ensure fair

Children’s Aid Foundation
Scholarship applications are open to students demonstrating both financial need and the
potential to succeed in their program of study. To meet the eligibility criteria, a student
must be:
A current Crown (permanent) Ward, or have been a Crown (permanent) Ward for at
least one year after turning 13 years old
Under 26 years of age at the start of their current school program, or under 30 if the
student has received CAF funding for the same program in previous years
Attending a recognized post-secondary institution full-time for two semesters within
one academic year (i.e., September - April or January - August).

Irving K. Barber Premier’s Scholarship
The Irving K. Barber British Columbia Scholarship Society (“the Society”) manages a
suite of international scholarship programs designed to assist students to participate in
academic, cultural, language or experiential study programs outside of Canada and the

James Pon Memorial Award
The Foundation to Commemorate the Chinese Railroad Workers in Canada (FCCRWC)
is a registered charitable organization. The goals of the foundation include promoting the

Jannit Rabinovitch Memorial Scholarship
Jannit Rabinovitch, feminist and community activist, was one of the co-founders of Peers
Victoria Resource Society in 1995 and supported Peers until the end of her
life (2007). Jannit had a fierce passion for helping women develop and build on their

achievements were boundless. Jannit also truly believed in the value of education -

Ruth Gardiner Award
This annual award is presented by the Greater Victoria Eldercare Foundation to one or
more students to undertake a clerkship at the Aberdeen, Glengarry, Mt. Tolmie, Priory
