TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WELLWe began our educational outreach in October with a rollicking student

matinee featuring Noche Flamenca presenting scenes from Antigona, a flamenco

retelling of Sophocles’ ancient tragedy. We ended in May with Pilobolus@Play,

which took teaching artists from the popular dance company into schools,

community centers and senior centers to bring new kinds of movement,

creativity and connection to people of all ages.

All together, we offered 113 free educational events on campus, in the public

schools and in the community and served in the neighborhood of 11,500

community members ages eight to eighty. What does arts education look like?
