GACE Maximum

A�empts Policy

Beginning in October 2013, the College of

Educa�on set a limit on the number of

�mes a candidate can a�empt the GACE

Program Admission Assessment and s�ll be

eligible for Teacher Educa�on. Candidates

have two a�empts per por�on (Math,

Reading, and Wri�ng) to successfully

complete the GACE Program Admission

Assessment. Failing to complete each

por�on within two a�empts will result in

denial of admission to Teacher Educa�on.
