Gil Even-Tsur Architecture Workshop ∞ is a full service architecture firm with over I0 years of combined experience in architectural practice working for some of the most important designers in the world. Our design aesthetic is a simple, sculptural, and sustainable

interpretation of modernism.

We have significant experience with the following project types:

Gil Even-Tsur

Gil Even-Tsur was born in June 1971. In 1994 Gil enrolled at the Tel Aviv University School of Architecture. Upon graduation with a Bachelor of Architecture, Gil continued his education in New York at the City College School of Architecture, where he won numerous

awards for excellence in design, including the Best Thesis award for his design of a spiritual center.

In 2003, Gil started work as a designer for the Pritzker Prize-winning architect Richard Meier. There he focused on the design and construction of the condominium tower at 165 Charles Street in Greenwich Village, a design which won the AIA Innovation

Award. During his time at Meier’s office, Gil was also a project architect for the Rothschild Tower, a luxury residential tower that is still under construction in the center of the ‘White City‘ of Tel Aviv.

In 2010, Gil established Gil Even-Tsur Architecture Workshop in New York. GETAW has commissioned numerous building projects around the world, with most of our work located in Israel and the US. For the past 5 years, Gil has studied and developed synagogue

building types for both religious and secular communities throughout Israel. The premise of such sensitive work is to examine the diverse connotations of new synagogue building types in modern Jewish life. Academically, Gil is currently working on a book on the

subject of synagogue typologies, and is a frequent visiting critic at City College School of Architecture, Pratt Institute, and New York Institute of Technology.
