COURSE OVERVIEWThis course is designed for those who are new in the field of User Experience Design (UX). Participants will be introduced to the history of UX, professional roles in the field of UX, the basic principles, methods, learn the latest techniques (theory and practical), and not forgetting the common terms and skills in UX.

LEARNING OUTCOMESUpon completion, participants should be able to:

• Understand the real objective, methodologies and functions of UX

• Understand the basic process of UX Design that can be implemented in projects

• Identify the best approach to solve the problems that involve Users or the Target Audience for each projects

• Able to come up with the best action plan to solve UX issues in projects

• Share the knowledge with team members from various departments that are normally involved; such as management, marketing, content writing, design, development and testing.

METHODOLOGY• This course will be conducted in lectures and an instructor led session

• Use cases and examples will be used throughout the course to help build and apply the concepts and knowledge.

• Participants will have to come up with solution to a simple project that will be assigned towards the end of this course.
