We at CSP have run trainings for wealth owners since 2015. The Sustainable Investing in Wealth Management training takes the learnings and materials from half a decade of work and turns them into a course that helps wealth managers serve the sustainability interests of their clients better. We know that it works; more than 60% of the participants of our wealth owner trainings are in an advanced stage of impact investing. Now we want to bring wealth managers on the same track.

The Sustainable Investing in Wealth Management training combines cutting-edge academic research with the nuts and bolts of implementing sustainable investing in practice. The course gives you the tools to leverage the topic of

sustainable investing in order to build strong client relationships and become an industry leader mastering a theme that has an increasing influence on the investment strategies of wealth owners.

The intense 2-day training provides you with an overview of the dynamic field and ensures that you can lead discussions on sustainable investing with confidence. WhyPrivate wealth owners increasingly appreciate the support from their advisors in learning more about sustainable investing – including impact investing, active ownership, and thematic investing. Yet, these themes are relatively new and advisors often feel that they lack the tools to effectively and efficiently serve their clients herein.

WhatThis highly curated wealth manager training program has been developed specifically for the needs of managers, investment professionals and client advisors of single and multi-family offices and private banks.

The 2-day program provides an interactive, engaging and practice-oriented experience that lets participants shape their tools to effectively support clients in bringing sustainable investments to their portfolio. The training enables participants to take a leading position in the rapidly developing field of sustainable finance.

HowThe program is run by CSP, a unit at the University of Zurich focused on research and training programs directed for private wealth owners globally. Furthermore, CSP works closely with wealth owner communities such as Toniic and The ImPact. The program is therefore based on practical expertise from work with wealth owners and managers coupled with deep scientific research insights.

The expertise of the research team extends beyond Zurich and is based on collaborations with scholars from institutions ranging from the University of Maastricht to MIT and the Harvard Kennedy School.

WhoThe core of the program is developed and taught by CSP. External experts are brought into the program based on extensive prior collaborations. The training is also joined by high net worth individuals who openly share their perspectives and experiences with advisors.

The course was well structured and efficient. The content was well presented with a good mix of practitioners and academia. Particularly, I enjoyed the interaction sessions with Next Gen UHNWIs and the SDG workshop where we could apply our acquired know-how. I also enjoyed the Q&A sessions with the lecturers and the socializing events with the participants.
