March gave us a taste of spring with mild temperatures the first couple of weeks but has also
shown us that winter is not leaving as we had -28°C mornings the last couple of weeks. The up and
down temperatures result in icy road and lease conditions.
Please take the time to think ahead; do your Hazard Assessment before each task and continue to
evaluate road conditions and drive accordingly. Due to drivers complacency, we had a couple of
incidents this month with some hefty clean up costs . Remember to stay focused, complete your
assessments and report any hazards immediately to your supervisors.
We will continue to review our truck schedules and truck numbers for April to meet our
customers’ needs and expectations.
SAFETY ALWAYS!
