vaatsalya rural birthing centre inauguration
DESCRIPTION
Vaatsalya's first Rural Birthing Centre at Kotumuchagi Village situated about 20 Km from Vaatsalya Hospital, Gadag was inaugurated by on 21st May 2011. Vaatsalya is attempting to create a new model for low cost birthing related healthcare services for the first time in Karnataka . Furthermore, this is also a unique Public-Private Partnership venture involving Vaatsalya, Deshpande Foundation (Hubli) and Kotumuchagi Village Panchayat. This project reinforces our commitment to rural healthcare for which we were facilitated with an award from DARE magazine recently.TRANSCRIPT
