Sub: Calling applications for filling up the posts of Senior Research Officer,

Assistant and Personal Assistant in TRAI HQ), New Delhi on deputation

on foreign service terms.

Telecom Requlatory Authority of India (TRAI), New Delhi, is a statutory body set up

under an Act of Parliament viz. the TRAI Act, 1997. TRAI has been established to regulate

the Telecommunications Services and to protect the interest of service providers and

consumers of the telecom sector, to promote and ensure orderly growth of the telecom

sector and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. The functions relating to

regulation of Broadcasting and Cable Services Sectors have also been entrusted to TRAI

from

2004.

The organization proposes to fill up the following posts in

its headquarter at New

Delhi

on deputation on foreign service terms, initially for a period of two years. The

details of qualification and experience etc., are as under.-

Senior Research

Officer

PB-3RS.15600-39100+

GP Rs.6600/- plus

allowances suchas OA,

HRA, etc as per Govt.

Rules.

Officers of the Central Government, Central Public

Sector Undertakings and Statutory and Autonomous

Bodies:-

 i)

holdingequivalent post on regular basisor

(ii) Officers in Junior Time Scalewith 4 yearsof regular

service in that grade or 7 years of regular service in the

grade of Section Officer or any other equivalent or

higher grade. The officer must possessthe working

knowled e of com utero

Assistant

PB-2 RS.9300-34800+

GP Rs. 4200/- plus

allowances such as

DA, HRA etc. as per

Govt. Rules

Officials of Central Government, Central Public Sector

Undertakings and Statutory and Autonomous bodies:-

(i) holding equivalent post

or

(ii) ten years of service in the pay scale of Rs. 3050-

4590/PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + GP 1900 (revised) with

workin knowledge of com utero

Personal

Assistant

Officers of Central Public Sector Undertakings /

Statutory and Autonomous Bodies:

(i) holding equivalent post on regular basis

or

(ii) 6 years of regular service in the grade of

Stenographer Grade D in pay band PB-1 RS.5200-

20200.+GPRS.2400.

PB-2 RS.9300-34800+

Grade- Pay Rs.4200/-

plus allowances such

as DA, HRA etc. as

per Govt. Rules.

The official must possess the working knowledge of

com utero

 + Age not to exceed 56 years on the date of closure of application.

3. The posts of SRO and Assistant have been exempted from the rule of immediate

-absorption up to December, 2020 for appointment on deputation.
