The National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda wishes to recruit competent candidates for the following positions:

1 Internal Auditor(1)

To apply the approaches and methodologies of internal audit and assessment toprograms across the NISR; To assess NISRs conformity to GoR regulations, instructions and financialprocedures; To verify the relevance of payment dockets as well as all contracts forpermanent and non-permanent staff including consultants, and the procurement ofgoods, services and materials including software and hardware;

To assure and certify the financial statements periodically; To verify that the state returns are collected quickly, immediately deposited inbanks and fully accounted for; To conduct budgetary controls on all purchase orders, engagements, expensesand the accounting; To undertake spot check controls on revenue collection, projects, supply sitesand delivery to ascertain conformity to GoR rules and procedures; To investigate any identified irregularities and present a Report accordingly to theBoard of Directors.

A0 Finance, Accounting; Management specializing inFinance/Accounting with 2 years working experience

2 Planning and M&EOfficer(2)

Update the National Strategy for the Development Statistics (NSDS) 5 yearsrolling Plan;

Coordinate Units and Projects within the NISR to consolidate Institutes AnnualAction Plan;

Prepare NISR Strategic Issues Paper that is aligned to the NSDS;

Develop new policies, analyze and update the existing ones and recommend anychange to the Senior Management;

Overseeing and monitoring the implementation of new and existing policies andprovide advice to management on the same;

Master or Equivalent in Economics, Management; orA0 in Economics, Management; Or other relevant fieldwith 2 years working experience

36 Logistics Officer(1)

To manage the transport requirements for the Institute; To plan and provide required logistical support to all the Departments of theNISR; To do any other task related to the job as may be required by the supervisors.

A0 in Accounting, Management , Store Management;

Economics Or any other relevant field with 2 years

working experience

37 Unit Secretary(1)

To provide high quality administrative support in all matters to the DG and hisdeputies; To facilitate decision-making within the NISR and the speedy delivery of workprograms on a day-to-day basis; To organize meetings as directed by the DG or the Directors; To organize interim work reports in collaboration with the Directors; To assist the DG in the preparation and execution of Board of Director meetings; To be the first point of contact for external partners; To provide other ancillary duties as required by the DG and deputies.

A1 Secretariat ; Or any other relevant field with 2 yearsworking experience
