Vaccinations for Child Care Workers Vaccination requirements for child care workers Child care workers in Rhode Island are now required to receive certain vaccinations. Child care workers must receive these vaccines by August 1, 2015. These vaccinations are: Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) 1 dose MMR (Measles-mumps-rubella) 2 doses* Varicella (chickenpox) 2 doses* Vaccination clinics for child care workers Child care workers can receive these vaccines at the clinics listed below. However, four weeks must pass between the first and second dose of MMR. Four weeks must also pass between the first and second dose of varicella vaccine. This means that someone cannot receive all five required doses at one clinic. Vaccinations for Child Care Workers Vaccination requirements for child care workers

Child care workers in Rhode Island are now required to receive certain vaccinations. Child care workers must receive these vaccines by August 1, 2015. These vaccinations are:

CLINICAS PARA VACUNAR A PERSONAS QUE TRABAJEN CON NIÑOS

Inscripción: Usted puede inscribirse llamando al 401-222-5960. Se requiere pre-inscripción

El costo: El costo de las vacunas en estas clínicas es mucho más barato que lo que costaría en

cualquier otro lugar. Usted puede pagar en efectivo, o con tarjeta de crédito, o con un cheque. Los

cheques deberán ser emitidos a nombre de “The Wellness Company”.

Ahora se requiere que las personas que trabajan con niños reciban ciertas vacunas. Estas personas deberán ser vacunadas

antes del 1ro de Agosto del 2015, con las siguientes vacunas.

TDaP (Difteria, Tétano y Tos Ferina) – 1 dosis

MMR (Sarampión, Paperas y Rubéola) – 2 dosis*

VARICELA( Chickenpox) – 2 dosis*

Clínicas para vacunar a personas que trabajan con niños: Las personas que trabajan con niños pueden recibir estas vacunas en las clínicas que se detallan más abajo. Sin

embargo, debe de haber un intérvalo de cuatro semanas entre la primera y la segunda dosis de la vacuna contra la

varicela. Esto significa que las personas no podrán recibir las cinco dosis de vacunas requeridas en una misma clínica.
