Vague and False Prophesies of Bible versus Clear and Verifiable Prophesies of

Quran and Hadith Taken from the Book of RAHMAT AL ALAMEEN (Mercy to

the Worlds) Written by QADI SULAIMAN MANSOOR PURI on India

    Introduction by (MUQ)

Biblical prophesies are a Big Business in Western World and there is no dearth of those

who are Experts and World Renowned in dealing with Biblical prophesies.

There is No Earthquake, No Volcanic Eruption, No Tornado or Big Storm, No Tsunamior Political Upheaval in the world, or Creation of any New Nation when these experts

descent like a swarm to proclaim that this event was foretold in their Bible.

They speak in Jargon language and code words and use every tool of human ingenuity

given to human kind to prove their point.

They made certain goof ups, what we say in May 21, 2001 was such an hoax. When you

consider the fact that it might be 500th such date for Jesus Second Coming in past 2000

years of Christian History, we get bewildered.

How come this western world is taken for a ride again and gain by these Quacks whopose as Biblical Scholars and experts on Biblical Prophesies.

But along side, we have another religion in the world, which is known as Islam, it has its

Book of God known as Quran and sayings of prophet which are recorded in the Book of

    Authentic Hadith.

Quran existence during the life time of prophet is confirmed and there is no doubt about

its textual purity despite passage of 1400 years.

The books of Hadith were also written down in the 2nd and 3rd century AH and most of

them have a traceable source of narrators that reach upto prophet himself.

Quran and these books of Hadith also make certain prophesies, but compared to Bible,

they are very precise and there is little scope for ambiguity.

Making prophesies is not difficult to get them fulfilled is beyond human powers.

When we analyze these prophesies and how they were fulfilled to the letter it amazes us,certainly some supernatural forces were at hand which made these prophesies.

Recently I was reading a Biography of our Prophet called RAHMAT LIL ALAMEEN

(Mercy to the worlds) written by QADI MOHD. SULAIMAN MANSOORPURI

In this book the writer has made a fair collection of these clear and unambiguous

prophesies and how there were fulfilled to the letter, some within decades and some aftermany centuries.

I have translated this portion from Urdu to English and want to share it with people, who

should compare the difference between Quran prophesies made in Bible a taste of whichwe saw in the likes of Harold Camping & co.

I have sometimes abridged the narration and have used free translation to convey the

meaning, if I have made any mistake in translation; I seek the forgiveness of Allah.

    Prophesy #1 (From Quran)

That Humans will not be able to make another book like Quran:

It is recorded in Quran Say if the whole of mankind and Jinn were to unite and bring a

book like Quran, they will not be able to do it, even if they help each other in the effort

    17:88

Now this is a very clear and straight forward prophesy and it is an ageless prophesy. It

simple says that Humans will never ever be able to bring a book like Quran, how so much

    they try.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

When Quran was being revealed it was the Golden age of Arabic poetry and the poets

were much respected of the lot.

There used to be poetic competitions, in which each poet will recite his poem and they

will judge whose is the best. The best of the best poems would be hung by the door of

Kaaba for people to match it.

When Quran came and challenged Arabs to match it in style and eloquence, all the poets

simply skunk away. Makkah people and Arabs chose to fight the Prophet and get

themselves and their children killed, but they never took the simple step of bringing oneor ten chapters like Quran.

So this prophesy was fulfilled to the letter during the life time of Prophet.

But as I said this is an ageless prophesy, now more than 1400 years have passed when the

revelation of Quran started and it is still unmatched.

And do not think there is any shortage of Arabic speaking Jews and Christians in ME.

They number in millions, and they have written dictionaries and books of Grammar of

Arabic. But Quran is still standing as masterpiece of Arabic literature.

If one compares even the best Arabic Bible Translation with Quran, one can see that there

    is no comparison at all.

So this prophesy recorded in Quran is 100 % clear and complied with.

Was it a pure Guess Work? You be the judge!!

    Prophesy # 2(From Quran)

That Quran shall always be preserved:

It is mentioned in Quran We have without doubt sent down the Message and We will

assuredly Guard it (from corruption) : 15:9

This is a very clear prophesy that Quran shall always be preserved from corruption

    irrespective of the age.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

This prophesy was made 1400 years book and today there is no book on the earth, which

can match Quran is its textual purity.

It is preserved in book form and it is preserved in the hearts of millions of Muslims in theform of memorization. There is no other book on the face of earth, which has so many

memorizers. And this is true from generations to generations, there was no time when

memorizers of Quran were not present in hundreds of thousands.

If we compare the textual purity of Quran with any book of OT and NT, there is indeed

no comparison. Different manuscripts of the same book differ from each other

(mentioned as variant readings by Biblical scholars) and there is a mountain ofdiscrepancies and errors and contradictions between these books.

Is there any doubt in the world that this very clear prophesy of Quran was fulfilled inevery age to the letter.

To compare it against Biblical books is like comparing chalk against cheese.

Some people say that Othman the Third Caliph changed the text of Quran, but this is a

very superficial charge. There was no way in which Othman could have deleted anyportion of Quran or would have added anything into it.

During his last days, there was an uprising against him and those people raised many

false charges against him, but no one said that he had changed the Quran.

Then we have complete record of differences between Othman and other companions of

prophet on matter of Islamic jurisprudence, but there also there is no charge that hechanged Quran.

    Prophesy # 3(From Quran)

    About the Compilation of Quran

It is mentioned in Quran : It is for Us to collect it and to promulgate it, but when we

have promulgated it, you follow its recital (75-17, 18)

Quran was revealed in bits and pieces and it took almost 23 years for its revelation to

complete. The prophet did not know how to read and write, yet the Quran says that Allahwill collect it and put in book form and place these bits and pieces in their proper places.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

Any one reading the Quran today, does not see any discontinuity in its narrations. There are no contradictions and its parts are collected in an order, which is not

chronological, how it was possible for a prophet who did not know how to read and howto write to complete this impossible task.

But it was done exactly as promised by Allah and no one has been able to change thisorder of Quran.

    Prophesy # 4 (From Quran)

That Quran will be memorized and reside in the hearts of believers.

Quran says No! here are signs self evident in the hearts of those endowed with

    knowledge.. (29:49)

This verse says that Quranic verses shall stay in the hearts of those endowed with

    knowledge, i.e. learned Muslims.

It means that Quran shall be memorized by learned Muslims.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

Memorization of complete Quran by millions of Muslims is a universal fact in whichthere is no doubt at all.

And to fulfill this Quranic Prophesy, the first job when a pupil enters an Islamic School

or Seminary is to memorize complete Quran!

That matches exactly with the Learned Muslim part mentioned in the Quranic Verse!!

    Prophesy # 5(From Quran)

That it will be easy to memorize Quran

Quran says But we have indeed made the Quran easy to understand and remember: then

is there any that will receive admonition (54:22)

This verse says that memorizing Quran is made easy.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

I think there is no need to comment on the fulfillment of this prophesy. A child of 7-8

years can memorize the complete Quran in Arabic, even though he does not understand aword of Arabic.!!

Can followers of other religion match this unique feat of Quran?

Can they memorize and chapter from any OT or NT book in a language they do not

    understand a word of it.

It is useless to say that Muslims are fanatics, there is no shortage of fanatics in other

religions also, but no one attempted this impossible feat and Quran is not a small book. It

contains more than 6600 verses of varying length and runs into 600 odd pages.

    Prophesy # 6 (From Quran)

That Quran shall also be propagated in written form also:

It is mentioned in Quran By a decree inscribed in a scroll unfolded (52:2-3)

This means that Quran will be written down and it will also be transmitted in the writtenform

How It was fulfilled to the letter

Needless to say that these millions of Quranic manuscripts, each being exact copy of each

other is a literal fulfillment of this prophesy.

Only those who have the ardent task of matching ancient Biblical Manuscripts canappreciate this unique phenomenon of Quran.

    Prophesy # 7 (From Quran)

That Quran shall be protected from Textual as well as Interpretational Corruptions

It is mentioned in Quran No falsehood can approach it from front or from back, it is sent

down by one full of Wisdom, and Worthy of All Praise (41:42)

This verse tells us that Quran shall be protected from both type of corruptions, in its texts

    and in its interpretations.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

Protection of Quran from textual corruptions has been mentioned earlier and it is beyondany parallel in the world.

Now this verse goes one step further and says that falsehood can not be proved from

Quran by its wrong interpretations. And this is also a proven fact of Quran and its 1400years history.

Muslims also had their fair share of dictators and kings whose writ was unchallenged intheir kingdoms, some of them even tried to misinterpret some Quranic verses (Mirza

Ghulam Ahmad Qadiyani is also one such example, but all their innovations were

rejected by Muslim nations by an overwhelming majority.

And these groups have been reduced to a fringe groups , cut off from main body of Islam.

That is why there never could rise a St. Paul in Islam to pass of his own philosophies asthose of Jesus and mislead the bulk of Christians into areas which was never even

    dreamed by Jesus Christ!

    Prophesy # 8 (From Quran)

That Islam will conquer all other ways of life

It is recorded in Quran in Three Places It is He (i.e. Allah), who has sent His Messenger

(i.e. Prophet Mohammad) with Guidance (i.e. Quran) and a religion of Truth (i.e. Islam),

that he may proclaim it over all religion, Even though the Unbelievers may detest it(61:9)

This verse is mentioned at three different places in Quran and the meaning is crystal clearthat Islam will extinguish all religions in its area of influence.

When these verses were being revealed during 5-9 AH, Muslims were confined in a smallcity of Madina, and its enemies were surrounding it from all directions. Its enemies

consisted of Pagan Arabs, Jews, Christians, Persian Empire and Byzantine Romans. Tomake such a clear prophesy that Islam would master all these enemies, could only be the

    work of a day dreamer.

But was it a hoax? Let us analyze, how this prophesy was fulfilled in a every short span

    of time.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

    A. Southern Arabia and Christianity:

In the south of Arabia, there was the Christian state of Abyssinia. Christianity had madean inroad in Arabia and many Arab tribes in north had accepted Christianity.

But within a few years all these countries and tribes came into fold of Islam and there

was no sign of Christianity in Arabia for ever.

    B. Jews and Arabia:

Jews had come to Arabia when they were dispersed from Palestine by Romans in 70 CE.

They made strong presence in Madina and the city of KHYBER and some more cities.

But within three or four years, Jews power was extinguished and they were gone fromthe scene.

    C. Arabs and Persian Empire:

The eastern part of Arabia was influenced by the Persian Empire, and many people had

    accepted their faith.

But within a few years after these verses were revealed, there was no Persian Empire leftand Arabs were free from their influence.

    D. Central Arabia and Paganism:

Most parts of Central Arabia consisted of Pagan Arabs, they were idol worshippers and

believed in many superstitions. There were people who denied the existence of Godaltogether, those who denied resurrection of the hereafter.

When these verses were being revealed, they were the biggest threat to the survival ofIslamic state and no one could think that within a few years, there will not be a pagan left

    in the whole of Arabia.

But things happened exactly as Quran had described and within a few short years, Arabbecame free from Idol worshippers for ever.

Every one can see the fulfillment of prophesy Over all religions!!

    Prophesy # 9 (From Quran)

    A. Prophesy About Islam: Islam would be completed within the life time of

    Prophet.

It is mentioned in Quran Their intention is to extinguish God light (by blowing) with

their mouths, But God will complete (the revelation) of His light, even though theunbelievers may detest it (61:8).

In this verse Allah tells clearly that the message of Islam shall be completed during thelife time of prophet itself and the efforts of its enemies shall end in failure.

There is no ambiguity in this prophesy and no ifs and buts. How this was fulfilled in veryshort time after this verse was revealed, every one can see.

How It was fulfilled to the letter:

The fulfillment of prophesy is more significant, if we see some events in the life of past

    prophets:

    1. Moses could not enter the Promised Land:

Despite his having powers to partition the sea and drown Pharaoh and his hosts and save

Children of Israel from their clutches, and despite showing many wonderful signs, Moses

could not enter into the Promised Land.

And it was only after he was Gone and after many centuries afterwards that Jews

completed their full possession of Promised Land.

    2. David Could not construct the House of YHWH:

Despite David being the most powerful king of Jews and he was instrumental inestablishing his full control over the promised land, he could not construct the House of

YHWH and the feat was completed by Solomon his son.

    3. Jesus had to leave his mission incomplete:

Jesus spent his three years mission in travel thru out the cities of Jews and he hardly spent

more than two consecutive nights at one place, but despite his endless efforts and hisshowing so many miracles, his teachings could not influence but a very small percentage

    of Jews.

And he had to leave his mission incomplete, after giving glad tidings of Another

Comforter who shall come after him and guide his people into all truth.

Just go thru the records of achievements of all these Great Prophets of the past and then

look at this Quranic Prophesy that Gods Light shall be completed.

    4. Amazing success of Prophet Messenger:

Within 5 years or so after these verses was revealed, prophet was standing at the highestmountain in the land of Arafat, mounted the highest pulpit (His she-camel) and surveyed

the whole of Arabian tribes standing and eager to hear to his sermon.

Was it not the fulfillment of this Quranic Prophesy? And further more, the same evening

the following Quranic verse was revealed to put icing on the cake so to say:

This day I have perfected your religion for you, completed my favors upon you, and

have chosen for you Islam as your religion (5:4)

This is a unique verse in the history of world religions and scriptures. No suchstatements we can find in any Scriptures of the past.

Can any one has any doubt the Mission of Prophet and His Light was completed duringthe life time of prophet himself? Can there be any more proof of fulfillment of this

    prophesy?

    Prophesy # 10 (From Quran)

That Islam will continue to Grow each day and its circle of influence will never

    shrink with time:

It is mentioned in Quran Do you not see how God sets forth a parable? A godly word

like a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed and its branches (reach) to the heavens, itbrings forth its fruit at all times, by the leave of its Lord (14:24-25)

In this prophesy, the Good tree is Islam and this verse says that:

    1. Its roots shall be firmly fixed, i.e. it will always have its root in Arabia;

    2. And its branches shall reach and grow in all directions, i.e. Islam shall continue to

    grow in all directions.

    3. It shall bear fruit at all times, i.e. its followers shall continue to increase at all times.

A tree which has no fixed roots, is like a free flowing monster, it can swing from one

extreme to another extreme, but a tree with fixed roots, can not swing but for a limitedsway and its roots will always pull it back to stand erect.

Have we not seen before our Eyes, Judaism not existing in its Original land (the creationof Israel is a very limited effort and in fact it is not revival of Judaism, but rather rule of

    Atheists and Materialists).

Christianity which originated in ME is not to be found there, its roots have been re-transplanted in Rome, not the same thing.

Buddhism which originated in India is cut off from that land, and it flourishes elsewherebut not in India.

But Islam is totally different from other religions, and we can see fulfillment of thisQuranic prophesy to the letter.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

    1. During the life time of Prophet:

In his 23 years of missionary life (13 years in Makkah and 10 years in Madina) the

prophet was successful in firmly fixing the root of this tree of Islam. Slowly andsteadily Islam continued to grow, till it covered the whole of Arabia.

And on his last pilgrimage, the prophet announced O people, the Satan has given hopethat he shall ever be worshipped in this land for ever.

And that fixed the roots firmly in the land of Arabia and today despite 1400 years it is asfixed as it was in his life time.

2 During the life time of his Companions (i.e. within 40 years of his death):

During the caliphate of first three Caliphs, the tree of Islam spread to all its neighboringcountries, from East of Siberia to the Western tip of Tunis, i.e. all the places that could be

    covered by dry land.

    3. During Umayyad and Abbasid caliphate:

Tree of Islam spread its branches to Spain and remote corners of Asia and Africa.

    4. During Mogul rule:

Tatars initially threatened the existence of Islamic nation, but they were soon won over

to the cause of Islam and they helped in spread of tree of Islam in most areas of Europeand eventually captured the city of Constantinople (Another prophesy of prophet whichwas fulfilled after many centuries).

So there is not the least doubt that tree mentioned in the above Quranic verse is Islamand its roots, leaves and its fruits all continue to grow with time.

    Prophesy # 11 (From Quran)

That Muslim armies (i.e. those who fulfill certain qualities) shall always be

    victorious.

It is mentioned in Quran And that Our forces , they surely must conquer (37:123)

In this verse, Allah says that His forces shall always be victorious and His forces are

those whose only aim is to propagate His religion and have no other desires for material

wealth and / or to just expand the boundaries of their nations.

If Islamic forces will be covered under this definition of His forces then they shall be

    always victorious.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

Anyone who has any knowledge of early Islamic wars, will not fail to realize that thisprophesy was fulfilled to the letter.

When Muslims were a persecuted lot in Makkah just trying to preserve their faith and tillthe time they got a base in Madina and were allowed to defend themselves and their faith,

no one could predict that this message of Islam would even survive the onslaught of its

    enemies.

This Quranic verse was revealed in Makkah period, when there was no question of Our

Army but when those earliest Muslims formed an army which in every respect was fitto be called Allah army there was not a single war in which they were defeated.

Anyone can read the accounts of wars in Iraq, Persia, Syria, Egypt and everywhere,

Muslim armies were always outnumbered and that much les provisions than theiropponents, but they always survived these odds and were successful.

And when Muslims lost the status of being Allahs army i.e. when they added the aimof fighting for their clans, their tribes, their countries, and to add to the boundaries of

their nations and exploit economic wealth of other nations, this protection was removed

    and they lost many battles.

And even now, if any group of Muslims form an army fulfilling the condition laid down

in Quran, they will not loose in the battle field.

Quran and Hadith Taken from the Book of RAHMAT AL ALAMEEN (Mercy to

the Worlds) Written by QADI SULAIMAN MANSOOR PURI on India

    Prophesy # 12 (From Quran)

That Companions of the Prophet will be provided both the provisions of this world

    and in the hereafter.

    It is mentioned in Quran:

    a. He who forsakes his home in the cause of God, shall find in the earth many a refuge,

    wide and spacious) 4:100

    b. Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in

My cause, or fought or been slain, verily I will blot out their inequities from them and

admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath (3: 195)

    c. Those who believe and suffer Exile and strive with might and main, in God causewith their goods and persons, have the highest rank in the sight of God, they are people

who will achieve (salvation). There Lord gives them glad tidings of Mercy from Himself,of His good pleasures and Gardens for them. (9:20-21)

As per these Quranic verses anyone who forsakes his home or forced to become exile inthe cause of religion shall be provided with alternate places of residence and would get

provisions of this world and shall reap the rewards in the hereafter also.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

These people left their homes, lands and their possessions in Makkah and reached almostempty handed in Madina.

And within a very short period, their conditions changed and they did get a lots of

worldly possessions and wealth, so the prophesy of first verse was fulfilled to the letter.

As regards their success, in the hereafter, we are assured of it from Quran and we shall

see with our own eyes on the last day (May Allah include me with them- MUQ, Ameen)

Is there any doubt that these verses were fulfilled in the cases of those who migrated from

    Makkah to Madina?

    Prophesy # 13 (From Quran)

That Idol worship shall be finished from the lands of Arabia.

It is mentioned in Quran: And God blots out falsehood and proves the Truth by His

    words (42:24)

In this verse it is mentioned that all false hood shall be removed by the Word of God, i.e.

there shall be no more idol worship in Arabia.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

In the above verse falsehood means idols, because it is recorded in Bukhari that on theday of conquest of Makkah, when prophet came to Kaaba and saw those 360 odd idols

stationed there, he pointed with his staff towards these idols and read the followingQuranic verse Say the truth has arrived and falsehood is perished, for the falsehood

always perishes (when confronted against truth

And he broke all these idols and they were thrown away from Kaaba and on his last

pilgrimage he proclaimed O people! The Satan has given hope that he will ever beworshipped in this land

Who could predict (this Quranic verse is from Makkah period), that there will be no moreIdol worship in the lands of Arabia and this evil shall be removed for ever? Only the

Lord of Universe, who has knowledge of past, present and future could make such

    statement.

And this tirade of Islam against idol worship was mainly responsible for Protestant

Movement in Christian Church against Idol worship of Jesus, Mary and Saints and they

do not worship or bow down in front of idols or images.

In the same way, many millions of Hindus and other idol worshipping tribes from India

and Africa have shunned this evil practice , due to Islam tirade against it

    Prophesy # 14 (From Quran)

That growth of Islam and change in fortune of its earliest followers shall be gradual

and in its stages, but after some time, they would become a formidable force in theworld.

It is mentioned in Quran Mohammad is the Messenger of Allah and those with him arestrong against the unbelievers(their similitude in the Gospel is) Like a seed which

send forth its blade, then makes it strong, its then becomes thick, and it stays on its own

stem, (filling) the sowers with wonder and delight. As a result it fills the unbelievers withrage against them.. (47:29)

In this verse, Islam and its earliest followers have been given a similitude of a seed that issown into the earth, its progress is mentioned in these five stages:

    a. Its sets forth its blade.

    b. The blade becomes strong.

    c. It become thick and stands on its own.

    d. It fulfills the sowers with wonder and delight.

    e. And it causes rage in the heart of Unbelievers (seeing the progress of tree).

How It was fulfilled to the letter

And that is how exactly is happened with respect to Islam and its earliest followers. It

started with a Single person, then it attracted some people, they formed a group and this

    group continued to expand.

The first two stages were completed in Makkah period, when Muslims were persecuted

and suffered at the hands of unbelievers. But the tree continued to grow.

The last three stages were fulfilled in Madina when the seed became a Fully Grown tree

and it cause rage in the hearts of unbelievers and they tries to take it by root with force,

but what happened was that the tree continued to grow and they got finished.

We can also compare this prophesy with the one in which Islam is given a similitude of a

    Good Tree.

So this prophesy was fulfilled exactly as described in Quran.

    Prophesy # 15 (From Quran)

That Companions of Prophet shall be given the power to rule on the land.

It is mentioned in Quran God has promised, to those amongst you who believe and work

righteous deeds, that He will, of a surety, grant them in the land inheritance (of power), as

He granted it to those before them, that He will establish in authority their religion, theone He has chosen for them; and that He will change (their state), after the fear in which

they lived, to one of security and peace (24:53)

In this world many specific promises are made to Muslims in general and to Companions

of Prophet is particular, the word MINKUM in Arabic shows expressively that these

gifts will be given to those who were present and listening when these verses were beingrevealed.

God promised that He will Surely:

    a. Establish them in the land as He had established those who came before them.

    b. Establish firmly the religion of Islam (Which He has chosen for them).

    c. The existing state of fear will be changed with the one of peace and security.

    d. They will worship only God and shall take no partner with Him.

This is a clear cut facility which must be fulfilled during the life time of the companionsof the prophet.

When this prophesy was made, Muslims were in no position to make such a claim or

were sure that within a few years, every thing will change

How It was fulfilled to the letter:

When we look at the conditions of Muslims within a two to three decades after the death

of Prophet (when most of the Companions of the prophet, the original hearers of this

prophesy were alive), we could very clearly see all the clauses of this prophesy being

    fulfilled to the letter.

    a. Complete Arabia and neighboring countries, of Iraq, Iran, Syria, Palestine, Jordan,

Egypt, Sudan, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria..all were firmly under control of Muslims.

    b. Islam was firmly established as dominant religion in all these countries and followers

    of other religions were subdued.

    c. Muslims had no fear to live their lives according to their religion and there was

complete peace in all the countries ruled by Muslims.

    d. Muslims worshipped only One God and there was no trace of idol worships or making

    any partners with God.

So we can see that this prophesy was fulfilled to the letter to the people who were the first

listeners and its truth to subsequent generations of Muslims is also complied by degrees

    and phases.

And this verse is also express that All Caliphs from the Companions of Prophet were

righteous Muslims and their selection had the sanction of God.

    Prophesy # 16 (From Quran)

Prophesy About Gang Members of those who ridiculed the Prophet:

That all These Gang Leaders shall be taken care by Allah Himself.

It is recorded in Quran For We are sufficient for those who scoff (you O Prophet)

    (15:95)

This verse was revealed in Makkah when the Chiefs and Elders of Makkah had made the

prophet a subject of ridicule and scoffs. They would make fun of him and make mimicryof his actions. Prophet used to feel pain on account of this, but he had no worldly power

    to stop them.

In these conditions, this verse was revealed in Quran that O Prophet! You do not getdisheartened, Allah will take care of these people.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

It was only a matter of 10 odd years, when Leaders and Chiefs of this ridiculing party,

met with their death, to become a source of admonition of all. Let us see the cases ofsome of these people and how they met their end.

    a. UMMAYA BIN KAHLAF: He was the man who used to torture BILAL theAbyssinian in Makkah. He was killed in the battle of Badr in 2 AH at the hand of sameBILAL!

    b. AAS BIN WAIL: He was also a powerful chief of Makkah. He was riding on adonkey, it tripped and he fell in a cave, there was a scorpion in the cave, which stung him

on the head, and he died a very painful death.

    c. NADHER BIN HARITH: He was the guy, who used to recite tales of Persian kings

and wars to counter Quranic stories of past prophets. He was taken captive in the same

Battle of Badr and prophet ordered him to be executed.

    d. UQBA BIN ABU MUEET: He was the guy who tried to strangle the prophet with

his garment. He was also taken captive in the battle of Badr, and prophet ordered him to

    be executed.

    e. ABU JAHL: He was the Leader of every group that were against prophet. He was the

person who caused the battle of Badr, and he was killed in the same battle, by two youngboys of Madina.

    f. ABU LAHAB: He was the real uncle of prophet and one of his worst enemies. Therewas a whole chapter revealed in Quran in his condemnation. Shortly after the battle of

Badr, he got infected with plague and died in the same illness.

People of Makkah were afraid of plague, so they did not enter the house to touch his bodyfor proper burial, they paid some black slaves to demolish the roof of his house on his

body to quell the stench coming from his decomposing body.

A fitting punishment for one who used to curse the prophet face to face!!

    g. UBAI BIN KHALAF: He was a known foul mouthed person and he used to ridiculethe prophet, saying that I have a horse whom I feed this and this. I will ride on this horse

and kill you. Once prophet said No, God willing, I will kill you he got scared.

In the battlefield of OHUD, he came in search of prophet, other people wanted to stop

him, but prophet said let him come. When he came closer, the prophet threw a lance athim, which made a small scratch in his neck. He died from the same wound, on the

    return journey to Makkah.

PS: The writer has given a list of twenty odd people and how they met their end. But the

examples I gave above are sufficient to prove that Quranic prophesy was implemented incases of all chiefs and leaders who used to ridicule prophet.

    Prophesy # 17 (From Quran)

Prophesy About Leaders of Makkah people:

That some of them might convert to Islam

It is mentioned in Quran It may be that God will grant love and friendship between you

and those whom you (now) hold as enemies, for God has power over all things, and God

    is oft-forgiving, Most Merciful (60:7)

This verse was revealed during the period when Muslims and Pagans of Makkah were

locked in a tense fight. It clearly indicated that in might be in future some of the pagansleaders might either become Muslim or leave their strong enmity and seek friendships

    with Muslims.

Both these prophesies were fulfilled exactly as mentioned in Quran.

How It was fulfilled to the letter:

Many tribes who were aligned with Makkah people at that time sought friendship with

Prophet. And many prominent leaders of Makkah accepted Islam and many of them did

great service to Islam. We give below examples of such people.

    1. ABULLAH BIN ABU UMAIYYA: He was first cousin of the Prophet, son of his

maternal aunt ATIKA. He was a big opponent of prophet and once said That even ifyou make a ladder to Sky and climb into it and come down with four angels to givewitness that you are a prophet of Islam, even then I will not believe in you. This was his

    first state.

The same Abdullah comes to Madina in 8 AH and accepts Islam at the hand of prophet

asking forgiveness of his past behaviour. Did he see something bigger than what he

    requested earlier?

    2. THUMAMA BIN ATHAL: He was chief of one NAJEDIAN tribe and was strong

enemy of prophet, his religion and his city. Yet the same THUMAMA, when captured

during a battle and being kept captive for a few days, then prophet freeing him withoutany ransom, accepts Islam and becomes one of his ardent admirer. Who could have

    predicted that?

    3. KHALID BIN WALEED: He was a young army general of Makkah and great master

of war strategies. He was head of Makkan Cavalry that inflicted so much harm toMuslims in the famous battle of OHUD.

But the same KHALID comes to Makkah in 7 AH and accepts Islam and becomes one of

    closest admirers of prophet.

And his exploits and military skills in the wars on Iraq, Syria, Palestine are still recorded

as unmatched by any military general of any army.

    4. AMR BIN AAS BIN UMAIYYA: He was renowned for his diplomatic skills. He was

the person chosen by Makkah people to pursue the king of Abyssinia to return theMuslim refugees.

He also took part in all battles which Makkans waged against the prophet, yet the sameAMR comes to Madina in 7 AH (along with KHALID) and accepts Islam. And this AMR

later conquers the whole country of Egypt in a very short time and with minimum use offorce.

    5. ABU SUFIYAN BIN HARB: He was leader of Makkan army in most battles between

his people against the prophet. It was inconceivable that such a person will accept Islam

and prophet will forgive him. But both things happened just before conquest of Makkah.

He accepted Islam and his wife also, who was no less ardent opponent of Islam. What

caused this change of heart for this husband wife duo?

    6. SUHAIL BIN AMR: He was the person chosen by Makkah people to negotiate peace

terms with prophet is the famous treaty of HUDAIBIYA. He inserted all those toughconditions which were deemed insulting to Muslims and he took back his son ABUJINDAL in chains from the Muslim camp.

A man with stone heart and no soft corner with Islam and Muslims one would think. Butthe same SUHAIL accepts Islam after conquest of Makkah and uses his oratory skills for

the service of Islam during the critical period following death of prophet.

    7. ABU SUFYAN BIN HARITH: He was the real cousin of prophet son of HARITH

BIN ABDUL MUTTALIB. He had good poetic skills, but he was a staunch enemy of

prophet and used his poetry to make fun and ridicule the prophet. No one could even

think that such an enemy of Islam will change his heart.

Yet the same ABU SUFYAN comes to Madina to seek pardon from prophet and accepts

Islam and uses his poetry for the cause of Islam. His faith was very good and he was veryashamed of his past behaviour and would never look prophet in the eye.

    8. IKRIMAH BIN ABU JAHL: He was the son of ABU JAHL the foremost enemy of

Islam and his opposition to Islam was no less than his father. He took part in all thebattles of Makkah against the prophet. He fled after the conquest of Makkah fearing for

    his life.

But prophet pardoned him and he accepted Islam on his hand, and became a true Muslim. He was an able General and he died as a martyr in the famous battle of YARMOUK that

was held between Muslims and Byzantine armies in 14-15 AH.

    9. HAKIM BIN HIZZAM ASADI: He spent first 60 years of his lies as a pagan and last

60 years as a Muslim. He spent lot of Money against Muslims in the battle of Badr, but

he also accepted Islam after conquest of Makkah and remained a good Muslim.

    10. ABD YALAIL AL THAQAFI: He was one of the three chiefs of TAIF, a city near

to Makkah and its summer capital. He treated prophet very harshly when he came tointroduce his mission to city of TAIF.

Even the conquest of Makkah did not change his heart and he chose to fight against

prophet. But the same ABD YALAIL was seen approaching Madina requesting peacefor his people. He became Muslim and due to his efforts the whole city of TAIF became

    Muslim.

    Prophesy # 18 (From Quran)

    Prophesy About Pagans of Makkah:

That Pagans shall be removed from the custodianship of Kaaba and will never enter

    there with peace and quite:

It is mentioned in Quran And who is more unjust than he who forbids the worship of

God in the Mosques of God, It was not fitting that such should themselves enter them

    except in fear (2:114).

This verse shows that Pagans holding the custodianship of Kaaba and preventing

Muslims from going there and praying, shall themselves will not be able to enter Kaabaexcept in fear.

How It was fulfilled to the letter:

This verse was revealed in around 2 AH, when there was no chance in the world that

Makkah people will be humiliated and Muslims shall take the control of Makkah.

But this thing happened within 6 years of these verses being revealed and pagans of

Makkah were given four months to mend themselves or get ready for war of

    extermination.

They used to enter Kaaba only under fear as Quran told.

Not only that, no Non Muslim can enter Makkah, and if some one enters by cheating (i.e.wearing Muslim clothes and wearing beard etc). he is always fearful that he might be

    recognized.

What a fitting fulfillment of this Quranic prophesy?

    Prophesy # 19 (From Quran)

Prophesy About People of Makkahs efforts against the prophet:

That all their monetary contributions and efforts shall be fruitless and they shall be

    subdued

It is mentioned in Quran The unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (men) from the

path of God, and so will they continue to spend: but in the end they will have only regretsand sighs; at length they will be subdued and the unbelievers will be gathered together to

    hell (8:36)

This Quranic verse was revealed after the Battle of Badr i.e. close to end of 2 AH, when

the general atmosphere is Makkah was to take revenge from Muslims on the defeatsuffered at Badr and every one was contributing in this Noble deed.

    It prophesized that:

    a. All these efforts of Non Believers will be fruitless.

    b. After spending all this wealth and efforts, in the end they get regrets and sighs.

    c. They will ultimately be subdued.

    d. They will all gather to the hell fire.

This verse also has a general significance being applicable in all ages for those who

spend their wealth and efforts in plotting to root out Islam, but its immediate reference to

the ongoing struggle of prophet against Makkah people was its first practical test

    How It was fulfilled to the letter;

As we mentioned this verse was revealed by the end of 2 AH and people of Makkah were

outbidding each other in the contribution effort to revenge battle of Badr losses and

very soon 50,000 ounces of Gold and 1000 camels were collected in a few days.

But what happened in a matter of five years? All the efforts of Makkah people were laid

to waste and they only got regrets and sighs. In 8 AH all these Chiefs were standing in

    Prophesy # 20(From Quran)

    Prophesy About ABU LAHAB:

That he and his wife shall die in the state of unbelief and he shall fail in his struggle

    against Islam;

It is mentioned in Quran Perish the hands of ABU LAHAB, Perish he! No profit to him

from all his wealth and all his gains, burnt soon will he be in a fire of blazing flames. Hiswife shall carry the crackling wood as fuel, a twisted rope of fiber round he )own) neck

    (111:1-5)

The name of this ABU LAHAB has appeared earlier also, he was real uncle of Prophet

being the son of Abdul MUTTALIB, grand father of prophet.

No one knows the reason for it, but since the start of mission of Islam, he developedgreatest dislike for prophet and his mission. There were many people of his clan who did

not accept the message of Islam, but no one showed the ferocity which he displayed.

In the clan based society of Makkah, he always stood apart from his clan in any mater

    related to the prophet.

When people delivered his first sermon to all Makkah people standing on mount SAFA,

at the end of sermon, before any one could speak, this ABU LAHAB burst out, Perish be

you! Was this that you wasted our time.

And when prophet used to go to tents of different tribes to preach his message, this ABU

LAHAB would follow prophet, shouting aloud This is a mad man, do not listen to him

And his wife, UMME JAMEEL, used to throw garbage on the courtyards of prophet, she

would gather trees branches with big thorn and put near the door of prophet, to hurt his

feet when he came out of his house.

Such were the Nobel deeds due to which this pair had the distinction to be cursed by

    name in the whole Quran.

Quran and Hadith Taken from the Book of RAHMAT AL ALAMEEN (Mercy to

the Worlds) Written by QADI SULAIMAN MANSOOR PURI on India

This Quranic Surah was revealed in the fifth and sixth year of prophets mission and it

    prophesized the following:

    a. That ABU LAHAB shall never accept Islam and shall die the death of an believer.

    b. That his wealth and family shall not benefit him in the least.

    c. That he shall enter the hell fire.

    d. That his wife shall join him there and there is a hint that she might die a death by

    strangulation in this life.

Now let us see, how each of these prophesies proved 100 % true in the mere matter of 15

    years.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

    1. ABU LAHAB and Islam:

During the course of his long mission, many of the bitterest enemies of Islam became

Muslim, but at no stage, even a hint came to the mind of this ABU LAHAB that to prove

that Quran was wrong, he would come to prophet to make him a Muslim.

There was a force which was preventing him even to think about it, what was it?

    2. His wealth and his family:

He had four sons and one daughter. Two of his sons died during his life time. Hisdaughter accepted Islam in the eyesight of her father. His other two sons accepted Islamat a later date.

So the mission of ABU LAHAB was no taker in his own household.

    3. His death:

He did not went to the battle of Badr, but the heavy defeat and slaying of most of Chiefs

of Makkah broke his heart and he got into sullen mood, not speaking to anyone and

    wandering alone.

Soon he got inflicted with plague and died with no one to take care of him. Makkah

people were so afraid of plague that no one dare come near his body and touch it, lest he

    also get inflicted with it.

When the stench got very foul, they paid some black slaves from Abyssinia to bring

down the roof of his house on him and get this type of burial.

Was that not a fitting end for some one who had shouted Perish be you! to the prophet?

    4. Death of his dear wife:

She was carrying a weight of dry wood from desert to use for fuel, it was heavy and was

tied with a rope. She got tired and put the load on a rock to take some rest. The loadslipped, but the rope got around her neck, and she died of strangulation.

Was that not a fitting end to one who used to throw filth and garbage in the courtyard ofprophet and scatter thorn in his path? You be the judge.

    5. Their end in the Hereafter: When so many parts of this prophesy were fulfilled 100 %,which were related to this earth, why should we be in doubt that prophesy which is

related to hereafter will not be fulfilled?

    Allah Knows Best

    Prophesy # 21 (From Quran)

Prophesy About pact of Mutual help between Jews and Hypocrites of Madina:

That they will not help each other and Hypocrites will not leave Madina with Jews:

It is mentioned in Quran Have you not observed the Hypocrites say to their misbelieving

brethren amongst the people of the book? If you are expelled, we too will go out with

you and we will never hearken to any one in your affairs and if you are attacked (in fight)we will help you

But God is a witness that they are indeed liars. If they are expelled, never will they getout with them, and if they are attacked (in fight) they will never help them (59:11-12)

These verses relate to the pact of mutual help between Hypocrites of Madina and tribes of

Jews in Madina, especially with BANU NADHEER, who had great affinity with theChief of Hypocrites in Madina.

Quran said that there pacts are for show only, when the time comes, these hypocrites willnever come to help the Jews and if Jews are expelled, they will not go out with them.

How It was fulfilled to the letter:

The events happened exactly as prophesized by Quran. The Jews of BANU QAINUQAH

were expelled from Madina in 2 AH and the hypocrites did not leave a finger to helpthem.

The Jews of BANU NADHEER were put under siege, and after few days, surrendered

and ordered to leave Madina. These hypocrites saw all that and neither helped them intheir fight, nor left Madina with their friends

Same behaviour was seen when Jewish tribe of BANU QURAIZA were given their duepunishment in 5 AH.

What else proof is needed to confirm that this Quranic prophesy was fulfilled to the

    letter?

    Prophesy # 22 (From Quran)

Prophesy About replenishment of any loss that Islam suffers due to apostasy:

That if any Muslim leaves his religion, Allah will replenish the loss

It is mentioned in Quran O you who believe! If any from amongst you turn back from

his faith, soon will God produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him,lowly with the believers mighty against the rejecters (5:57)

In this verse God tells Muslims in general, that is any of them thought of turning back ontheir religion, they will be replaced by another people,. Who will be better than them.

So their turning back on Islam will not harm Islam in any significant manner. This is an

everlasting prophesy and we will have to look at 1400 years of Islamic history and seehow it was fulfilled in every twist and turn of this long journey.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

1 During prophets life and immediate years following his death:

There are very cases of anyone turning its back on Islam, and a few who turned their back

on Islam did not harm in any way, and met a very inglorious death.

When the Prophet died, many false prophets like MUSALIMA in NAJD, ASWAD,YULAHAH and SAJAH in Yemen were more prominent of them. Some of them got a

    sizeable following too.

But many people from their own tribes stood firm and opposed them and when Muslim

armies reached from Medina, they joined the Muslim army and within a couple of years

this tide of apostasy and false prophets was turned back and wheels of Islam startedmoving in forward direction.

    2. During the Caliphate of Umayyad:

When they started persecuting Muslims and especially those who belonged to the tribe of

Prophet, God put forward people from Kurasan, who ended their rule and established

Abbasids on the seat of caliphate.

    3. During the caliphate of Abbasids:

When they showed weakness to take up the cause of Islam to Non Muslims, God rose up

rulers of Andulus and Boyas and Sabaktigin to take up the cause of Islam.

    4. After Attack by Mongols and Tatars:

That was a very painful period for Islam when Mongol Turks attacked the Islamic nation

and destroyed Baghdad and it appeared that days of Islam are limited. But very soon thesame Turks accepted Islam and then were the means to propagate Islam in Europe. They

conquered Constantinople as prophesized by the prophet.

    5. SHUDDHI Movement in India:

Arya Samaijis caused a few Muslims to turn back on Islam and accept Hindu religion, butfrom the same Hindu community many prominent persons like Kunwar Abdul Wahab,

Mohd. Ameen, Khalid Gaba joined Islam and argued with Arya Samjis.

The harm done to Islam and Muslim community in India was very minor and its tracesare no where to be found..

    6. Growth of Islam in Europe:

Many prominent persons in Europe like Sir George Hamilton, Lord Hedley, Marmaduke

Pikthal, Khalid Schelder and others became Muslim and debated the cause of Islam andMuslim in lands and countries where there was very little Muslim presence.

And we can see the growth of Islam in almost every country of western world. Thepresent wave of Modern Atheism did not affect Muslims as much as it has affectedfollowers of other religion.

    Prophesy # 23 (From Quran)

    Prophesy About Jews:

That they will not cause a major harm to Muslims:

It is mentioned in Quran They will do you no harm, barring a trifling annoyance, if they

come out to fight you, they will show you their backs and no help shall they get (3:111)

This verse was particularly revealed for the Jews of Madina, but it has a general

    significance also.

Quran tells that Jews will not be able to cause a major harm to Islam except trifling

annoyance, and if they come out to fight openly, they will turn their back and no one willcome forward to help them.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

This prophesy was fulfilled to the letter on the Jews which lived in Arabia during the timeof prophet. There were three Jewish tribes living in Madina, if they would have made a

strong alliance within themselves and a reliable alliance with the Hypocrites, and got

helped from other Jews living outside Madina, they could have become a formidableforce.

But as Quran predicted, they remained disunited and no Jewish Tribe helped when onewas in trouble and one by one they were subdues and were driven out from Madina firstand then from Arabia.

They only caused a trifling annoyance to Muslims.

And the same was situation for 1300 Years. Now they have gathered together and

established their country in the land of Palestine with monetary, political and ammunitionsupport from their Christian friends. But still compared to vast Islamic nation\ their

extent of harm is very little.

    Prophesy # 24(From Quran)

    Prophesy About Jews:

That they will never prey for death

It is mentioned in Quran (in two places): Say O you are Jews! If you think that you are

friends of God to the exclusion of (Other) men, then express your desire for death, if you

    are truthful.

But never will they express their desire (for death) because of the (deeds) which their

hands have sent before them, and God knows well those who do wrong (62: 6-7)

In this verse the Jews of Madina are challenged to express their desire for death and it isalso prophesized that they will never express such a desire.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

Jews of Madina used to come to prophet with strange requests and queer problems. Theyused to spread false rumors about prophet and used to challenge him every now and then.

So in response to all their allegations, prophet asked them to wish for death, if they thinkthat are on true path. Jews hesitated to accept this request.

So this challenge was repeated again and again and Quran declared that they will NEVERwish for death.

And no Jew in Madina came forward to just wish for death, proving that this Quranic

    prophesy was 100 % correct.

    Prophesy # 26 (From Quran)

    Prophesy About Christians:

That Christians shall generally be more inclined to do humanitarian services

It is mentioned in Quran: Then in their wake, we followed them up with (others of) Our

Messengers, we sent after them Jesus the Son of Mary and bestowed on him the Gospel:

and we ordained in the hearts of those who followed him Compassion and Mercy(57:27)

In this verse, God confirms that Jesus was a prophet sent by Him, and then He also saysthat the followers of Jesus were bestowed with Compassion and Mercy.

That means that they will be generally more inclined to do humanitarian services and

    help humans in distress

How It was fulfilled to the letter

Any one who is aware with the humanitarian services rendered by Christian missionaries

and the aid and help they provide to help people during natural disasters is well known.

They have opened many schools, universities, hospitals and other institutions for service

    to mankind in general.

It is true that Christian missionaries do use these institutions to propagate Christianity, but despite this there contributions towards serving humans cannot be denied.

So we can see that this Quranic prophesy has proven right.

    Prophesy # 27 (From Quran)

    A. Prophesy About Christians

That sects and denominations of Christians shall always have enmity with each

    other

It is mentioned in Quran From those, too, who call themselves Christians, We did take a

covenant, but they forgot a good part of the Message that was sent them , so we estranged

them with enmity and hatred between the one and the other, to the Day of Judgment. Andsoon will God show them what it is they have done (5:15)

Quran says the because Christians forgot (or corrupted) major part of the Message(Gospel) which was preached by Jesus, enmity and discord was put between different

sects and denominations of Christians, and this shall continue till the Day of Judgement, and no efforts shall be successful to bridge their gaps.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

1 First part of this prophesy is that Christians forgot a good part of the message (Gospel)

    that was preached by Jesus.

Any one who has read these four Gospels can say with confident that this Quranic

statement is 100 % correct. Mistakes, errors, contradiction and discrepancies betweentheir narrations prove that each Gospel writer wrote part of the message.

And if we add together those 90 odd Gospels and Book of Acts and Epistles that arecalled Apocrypha, this conviction is further proven.

That was one part, and the effect of St. Paul on Christianity was most devastating. He

changed simple teachings of Jesus into a philosophy which is neither scriptural and notsupported by any words and actions of Jesus himself.

    2. The second part of Quranic prophesy that because of each one having differentportions of message given by Jesus, the sects and denominations of Christians have

enmity and discord with each other and there is no way in which these differences can be

    solved.

Their mutual enmity and discord shall continue till the day of Judgment.

And one who has any knowledge of Christianity, its growth and its sects and theirinfighting will confirm that this Quranic statement is 100 % correct. And there is no way

in which these differences could be bridged, all efforts have failed so far and any efforts

in future shall also fail as confirmed by Quran.

    Prophesy # 28 (From Quran)

    A. Prophesy About Christians:

That Christians in general shall be closer to Muslims than Jews and Idolaters

It is mentioned in Quran: Strongest among men in enmity to the Believers will you findthe Jews and Pagans: and nearest among them in love to the believers will you find those

who say We are Christians : because amongst them are men devoted to learning and

me who have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant (5:85)

This is very important prophesy and very difficult to predict for long term future. The

    prophesy has many parts:

    a. The people who shall be most against Muslims shall be Jews and Pagans (Idolaters).

    b. The closest to Muslims in love and understanding will be Christians.

    c. And the reason for this is that amongst Christians there are learned people, people who

have renounced the world, and they are not arrogant.

How It was fulfilled to the letter

It was comparatively easier to predict such type of prophesy in short term, because thelocal situations in Arabia was known to every one. But to predict this on a perpetual basis

was not that easy, Because situations do change and relations between them do changeand old enemies become friends and long term friends become enemies.

But it is strange that this Quranic Prophesy was proven to be 100 % true. Muslims did

had many fights with Christians and Christians in turn have done much harm to Islam andMuslims and written so many books against Islam and Muslims, which no one else has

    done.

But despite all this, there always rose amongst Christians who stood up against this

extreme behaviour of Christians and defended islam and its prophet. Names of Thomas

Carlyle, Bosworth Smith, George Bernard Shaw, La Martinere, Gibbon etc are well

    known.

But Jews and Idolaters (Pagans of Arabia , Hindus etc) have always been the bitterest

enemies of Islam and Muslims and there is hardly any sign that they have alwayschanged their stand.

This has been the case for past 1400 years of history of Islam. And I doubt it was inpower of any human to predict such a difficult thing.

    Prophesy # 29 (From Quran)

Prophesy About the war between Persian and Byzantine Empires:

That Romans, who are defeated now, will win back in less that ten years

It is mentioned in Quran ALM, the Roman (Byzantine) Empire has been defeated in a

land close by, but they (even) after (this) defeat of theirs, will soon be victorious, within a

    few (less than ten) years.

With God is the decision to the past and to the future: on that day shall the believers

rejoice, with the help of God. He helps whom He wills, and He is Exalted in Might, Most

    Merciful (30:1-5).

This verse was revealed in the sixth or seventh year of the Prophet mission and it was a

    most amazing double prophesy

It is better to know the background of this prophesy and what was its importance in world

history and how accurately it was fulfilled. And it was not one of the commonastrologers prophesy

Background to the defeat of Roman Empire at the hand of Persian Empire:

    1. When the Prophet was born, Arabian Peninsula was having two world Super Powers

on its Eastern and Northern sides.

    2. On Eastern side was the Mighty Persian Empire which ruled Iraq, Iran, some areas of

Arabian East Coast, Yemen, and extended into far east touching the borders of Indian

Sub Continent. The Ruler on Persian Thrown at that time was KISRA PARVEZ

    3. On the northern side was the Mighty Roman (Byzantine) Empire which despite its

European possessions had control of Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Morocco, Tunis andmany border tribes of Arabia itself. The ruler of this vast Empire was Caesar Heracles at

    that time.

    4. There was no love lost between these two great world super powers of the time (as isalways the case, with superpowers, they can never live in peace and quite). Border

skirmishes and occasional loss and gain of each other territory was not that uncommon.

    5. But it was when the prophet had just started his mission, that Persian Empire defeated

Roman Empire in a big way, and drove them out of Egypt, Jordan, Palestine , most parts

of Syria and were on the verge of capturing all their Asian possessions.

Quran and Hadith Taken from the Book of RAHMAT AL ALAMEEN (Mercy to

    6. It was not an ordinary defeat that used to take place between these Empires, the

Romans tried to get peace terms from Persians, but each time they raised their conditions,to every one it seemed that Roman Empire is all but gone from Asia for ever.

    7. It was sixth or seventh year of prophet mission in Makkah when this situation of total

and comprehensive defeat of Roman Empire reached there. Though none of the partieswere Muslims to say the truth, but sympathies of Pagans of Makkah were with the

Persians (both worshipping idols and fire etc), and the sympathies of Muslims were with

the Romans, because they were Christians and followers of Jesus, a prophet of God.

    8. Pagans of Makkah used to taunt Muslims that as our brethren in Persia are defeating

your brothers in Syria, so shall we will defeat all your efforts to establish your form ofChristianity in our midst. Muslims had no answer to these taunts, but used to bear them

    with grace and humility.

    The Great Prophesy:

    1. Under these circumstances Quran made this amazing prophesy that Romans shall once

again be victorious after their defeat.

    2. Quran also fixed a time frame for their victory. It said in a Few years, the Arabic

word it used was BIDA which is used for any number between 3 and 9. It was a veryfirm prophesy, and could have been used as a test of divine revelation of Quran.

    3. In fact Quran made a double prophesy, that Muslims shall also rejoice on that day, because of Help they had received from Allah. It indicated that Muslims shall also

achieve something special on that day.

    4. As usual, Makkah people started to make fun of this weird prophesy considering it tobe the usual prophesy which street astrologers are fond of making. They will predict

each event and if one out of 100 is fulfilled, they will forget all about 99 which were

proven wrong and blow the trumpet about the 100th with came to be true.

    5. One chief of Makkah came to Abu Bakr and set him a bait of 10 camels for fulfillment

of this prophesy. They fixed a period of Three years. When Abu Bakr informed theprophet, he said that time period according to Quran is less than 10 years so you

increase the time period to 9 years and increase the number of camels to 100. This was

accepted by the Makkan chief and the bait was set.

Quran and Hadith Taken from the Book of RAHMAT AL ALAMEEN (Mercy to

the Worlds) Written by QADI SULAIMAN MANSOOR PURI on India

How It was fulfilled to the letter:

It is amazing to see how this impossible Quranic prophesy was fulfilled exactly as

mentioned in Quran. Gibbon the famed historian in his book Decline and Fall of Roman

Empire has provided details as to how it happened. We give some brief points from his

    account.

    1. The Caesar Heracles did not show any great rulership qualities in his life. He was

always debating as to which course to take, and think again and change his decision. That was one reason of the decisive Roman defeats at the hand of Persians.

    2. He did not learn any thing from initial defeats and pursued the same policies whichresulted in his total defeat. This condition persisted till about six or seven year of the

    period mentioned in Quran.

    3. Then in eighth year, the same Caesar appeared to be transformed by some unknown

hands into a most decisive and energetic person. He took charge of a strong sea fleet andattacked the Persian Empire at its back, which took the Persians totally by surprise.

    4. Then immediately he came back and attacked at another point on the Persian Empire

by sea and reached almost to their capital. By this sudden and variant attacks and a new

initiative launched by the land forces, the Persian forces were pierced from two sides andwithin two or three years Roman won back most of their lost lands and conquered a large

    part of Persian lands instead!

    5. Humiliated the Persian Empire sued for peace and had to pay a large war damages and

return all the lands.all this was achieved in 2 to 3 year period, i.e. within the less than

10 years period set by Quran. So the Quranic prophesy was fulfilled exactly as it wastold.

poorly armed army of 313 with the help of Allah defeated a much stronger army of

1000 fully armed and equipped of Pagans.

    7. So both the portions of Quranic prophesy were proven true and Abu Bakr did collect

100 camels of the bet he had made, but prophet ordered him to give them to charity!!

Was it a pure Guess Work? You be the judge!!
