From the editor’s desk How can something be so amazingly easy to feel and yet so complex to define?! LOVE, that four letter word, that crazy little thing, the cause for epic wars (think Maha-bharata, Ramayana, Troy, the current one you might be having with a classmate!!), the thing that drains your pockets, or just the most powerful force in the world that keeps us all moving and craving for it no matter how much we deny it! So how do you define love?.... That stupid thing your heart does when it won't listen to your brain yelling at it to shut up…..Nah that’s a heart attack That elusive thing you chase relentlessly and don’t know what to do with it once you get it….hmmm that sounds like a dog chasing a moving car.

Something you can’t live with and can’t do without either…..well , even toilet paper or a flush will fit in this definition! So in this special Valentine’s Day edition, we won’t try to define love, we leave that to you by reading the articles that have poured in. We have an anonymous poem for a person’s crush! Poorva Vernekar tells us how all the pieces of a crazy jigsaw just fit in right , to create something beautiful. Garima Khanna dedicates her poem ‘to the one’ and also talks of how she does not want to let someone go without letting that special someone know! Gauranshi Tripathi questions in her poem ‘can you feel it too?’ We also have entries from our contest ‘Tweet a tory’. We also have an anonymous entry for Shruti Jain. All the pieces fell into place,

And suddenly the picture was clear.

All the pieces fell into place,

Every time you were near.

Some pieces were dark and cloudy,

While others crystal clear.

But all the pieces were loved and wanted,

No insecurity, no fear.

And the pieces fit so smoothly,

They didn’t need pins or glue.

And they held strong, bound to each other,

Just like me and you.
