Mechanically Polished Finishes The following finishes are all mechanically produced by Valgro abrasives brushes.

Valgro #2J Finish (Scratch grinding): A ground uniform finish obtained with or scratch grinding abrasives

brush. It is a good starting point for removal of deep scratch mark and create uniform scratch finish for subsequent

operation for final finish.

Valgro #3 Deep scratch finish: A ground unidirectional uniform finish obtained with and brush.It produces

consistent finish equivalent to 120 grit finish on each sheet which, Abrasive belt does not provide.

Valgro #3JFine Hairline Finish: This is directional straight line finish produced by and grade series brushes.

The finish line will be continuous and less reflective.

Valgro #4 Grain Finish : This is a ground unidirectional hairline finish achieved with and dual brush.

The finish matches to 150 grit consistent hairline finish which abrasives belt does not produce.

Valgro #4B Fine Grain Finish: After and brush finished finally use satin finish brush. Bright &

shine finish achieved with fine grain pattern.

Valgro #4F Matt Finish : duel applied brush are produced MATT finish on 2B stainless steel sheet with watt

operation. Wet brushing offers a matt surface with least reflectivity.

Valgro #6 Satin matt Finish: dual brush provide fine matt surface on 2B Finish stainless steel sheet with wet

operation. Surface finish will be achieved approx Ra 0.4

Valgro #6B Satin glossy Finish: Satin finish produced by using a and brush with dry operation on 2B finish

buff sheet.It offers a smooth surface with slightest reflectivity.

Valgro #6J Shine yellow Finish: produced by using a grade brush with dry operation on 2B finish material. It offers

a smooth glossy yellow finish on stainless steel sheet. This finish look luxurious effect.

Valgro #7 Feather Finish: and with brush provide superior satin finish on 2B Finish stainless steel

sheet with wet operation. Surface finish will be achieved approx Ra 0.2

Mirror Finish # 8: The most reflective finish that is commonly produced on stainless steel sheet. After #7 operation Buff with

Compounds to mirror finish. It is obtained by Final polishing with rotating and

containing fine abrasives.

Finishing is a slow and step-by-step procedure. Depending upon sheet surface. Always select suitable brushes from a rougher grade, then gradually progress to a finer grade of the product.

Surface finish is an important element in any specification for stainless steel. For those applications in which appearance is important, finish is a design element and must be specified to avoid inappropriate finish to the desired application.

No.1 Finish: Hot Rolled Mill Finish: Slabs are hot rolled to plates/coils, annealed shot blasted and pickled.

No.2D Finish (CR Mill Finish) Material with a No.1 finish is cold rolled, annealed and pickled. This results in a uniform dull finish. Suitable for industrial application

No.2B Finish (CR Mill finish) Material with a 2D finish is given a subsequent light skin pass operation between polished rolls. A 2B finish is the most common finish for sheet material. It is brighter than 2D and is semi-reflective.

Strip Sanding & Polishing wet machine:  for bimetal / cladded material   operation  

Valgro‐Hyzer bimetal strip sanding and polishing machine professionally designed for bimetal and cladded material strip, sheet production.  This wet processing machine avoids hazardous chemical process for removing of annealed scale and rust surface.    Valgro eco pickled strip polishing line having Degreasing zone by simple water rinsing, aggressive cleaning zone by valgro advance brushing system, fresh water rinsing, Air squeezing, Thermo adjustable hot air evaporation turbine blowing and drying zone for continues strip cleaning system.  Valgro-Hyzer strip polishing brushing machines specially develop for following application:

Brushing before Cladding

Valgro supplies wet brushing machine to remove annealing colours and light surface defects. These

machines work with VALGRO-FYNEX abrasive impregnated filaments brushes,. Water spray is used to cool

the process and to clean the surface.

Valgro strip polishing machine is a proven technology in production of cladded materials of bearings or other

electronic parts. Before the strips are cladded in a rolling mill, the surface will be roughened and

mechanically activated by brushing. Valgro has develop special machines for this application.

Brushing before Cladding :

Dry brushing of Alloy steel or aluminum is a proven technology in production of cladded materials of bearings or

other electronic parts. Before the strips are cladded in a rolling mill, the surface will be roughened and mechanically

activated by brushing. Valgro has develop special machines for this application with dust exhaust and filtration

system.

Removing of Scale

During processing of heavy plates in a cut to length line a lot of scale will form loose parts during bending and

deflecting of the strip surface. This scale causes dirt contamination in the following aggregates (flattener, shear,

etc.) and increase the downtime due to frequent cleaning cycles. VALGRO-HYZER has developed a heavy duty

brushing machine, especially for this application, i.e. removing of loose scale from the surface. A combination of

rotating brushes and high efficient exhaust system form the key equipment of this machine

MANUAL SHAKER  is one of the most cost effective dust collector model. The dust filled air stream passes through fabric bags that filter the dust particles. Bags are made of different material such as Non woven polyester etc., The bags are cleaned manually by giving a manual shaker mechanism. The dust from the bags is collected in the bin below the hopper, which has to be cleaned periodically.       MOTORISED SHAKER is used in processes where non‐cleanable filters become an expensive option due to large dust content. It consists of bags with an inlet for dusty air stream at the bottom. The bags are suspended from a rope for improved agitation and fixed at the bottom. Dust filled air enters the bag, passes through the filter and collects on the inside walls of the bags.      APPLICATIONS Ceramic, Plastic, Pulp & Paper, Rock and related products, woodworking, Bin ventilation, grinding, Packaging, Polishing, Sanding, Sawing and many more.
