Validating a Serial Number

ActivInspire 1.4

Teachers that are using the old software, ActivStudio will need to validate their serialnumber to have access to the new ActivInspire software.

1. Log into www.prometheanplanet.com and log in with username and password. Ifyou do not have one, select register.

2. Click on the Support Tab, then select ActivInspire.

3. Select Download ActivInspire at the bottom of the screen.

4. Choose your language.

5. Scroll down to bottom of next screen.

a. If you have the serial number and product code from the left side of yourboard, select the Hardware tab and then fill in the blanks with yourboard’s information.OR

b. If you have a serial number from the ActivStudiosoftware (which is found under Main Menu <Help< About ActivStudio), click on Software SerialNumber and plug in your serial number fromActivStudio.

Click on Validate and it will generate a new Inspire SerialNumber for you.

6. When you open the ActivInspire software on your computer, fill in the licenseagreement with your own username and organization and your new ActivInspireserial number. Click “I accept…” and click OK.
