The Valley of Flowers is a beautiful meadow located at an altitude of about eleven thousand feet. It is the valley of the stream Pushpavati, a tributary of Alaknanda. Frank Smythe discovered “The Valley of Flowers” in 1931 on his way back to Mt.Kamet. Hundreds of species of flora grow wild in the valley. 

 Location : Gadhwal Himalayas (Uttaranchal)  Area : 87.5 sq. Kms.  (Altitude: Between 3658 M to 3962 M.) 

Day1: Mumbai Delhi (By Rajdhani Express III AC) 

Day2: Delhi – Haridwar (By Janashatabddi Express AC Chair Car) Stay at Hotel. 

Day3: Haridwar – Joshimath (255 Kms,7‐8 Hrs drive) 

Day4: Joshimath – Govinghat – Ghangaria (20 Kms drive, 13 Km Trek) 

Day5: Gangaria – Valley of Flowers – Gangaria(6 Kms Trek) 

Day6: Gangaria– Hemkund Saheb –Gangaria ( Trek 10 Kms) 

Day7: Gangaria – Govinghat – Badrinath (13 Kms Trek, 127 Kms  drive, Overnight at Hotel) 

Day8: Badrinath – Haridwar (300 Kms / 9‐10 Hrs)(Early morning leave for Haridwar.Reach Haridwar by 

evening, Overnight at Hotel) 

Day9: Free Day For site seen.(On own cost.)At Haridwar Visit Chandi Devi Temple, Daksh Temple & watch 

the “Aarti” (Holly ceremony) performance at the river “Ghat” at Sunset. Stay overnight at hotel. 

Day10: Haridwar – Delhi (Early morning leave for Delhi.) Lunch at Delhi & onwards journey to Mumbai by 

Rajdhani Express. 

Day11: Reach Mumbai Central at 8.30 A.M.
