Here are the exciting classes we have for you: Children & Youth ages 10-19 will participate in Quiz Teams EAST & WEST. Students will learn the WORD as they compete for prizes. Teachers’ Training Class will go forth 12 weeks beginning Tuesday, September 4 at 7:00p.m. Registration will begin in August. Disciple I will begin its second quarter on Sunday, July 8 at both locations during Sunday Rhema Word. Join us for this in-depth study of the Word of God. What does a champion look like? Tune into to our weekly blog "Portrait of a Champion."  Blogs will be posted every Wednesday on the Valley website during the summer months.  Also, join us on our Facebook page "Empowered to Succeed" for additional information.

ATTENTION VETERANS Valley Kingdom Ministries

wants to share a wonderful opportunity for you, America’s Veteran.

Ocala Honor Flight is working diligently to make a 2012 flight to the World War II memorial with our aging veterans. America felt it was important to build the memorial; we believe it is equally important the veterans visit and experience it before this generation passes away. Let us not miss this chance our community has to show our support and appreciation to those we honor.

Nationally Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D. C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is give to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.

Mission Statement: Transport America’s veterans to Washington D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices.

Goal: Help every single veteran in America, willing and able to get on a plane or bus, visit THEIR memorial.

NEW MEMBERS CLASS:

• The Sunday curriculum consists of 12 weeks. The next class will begin on July 22, 2012 @ both locations. (Immediately after Worship @ Valley East, 9:30am at Valley West).

• We now have a Saturday Class! The class is held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon @ Valley East, South Holland, IL 60473. The next class begins on Saturday, September 8 and runs for 4 weeks.

• TO PARENTS: If your child joined the ministry under Watch Care our next Watch Care class will start on Sunday, July 29, 2012-9:30a @ Valley West only.

BAPTISM INFORMATION:

• If you joined this ministry as a Candidate for Baptism, please join us on Sunday, September 2, 2012 to complete your commitment.

• Candidates are asked to be at Valley West in Oak Forest, IL by 9:30a.m. for the baptism class in the Admin Bldg and by 10:30a.m. in the Temple to dress for baptism and receive poolside instructions. Please bring with you a change of under garments and a plastic bag for wet clothing.
