INTRODUCTION Mahabharata is called National epic of India.

It is written by great author Vyasa in 4th century AD.

The Mahabharata is the story of a great war “Kurukshetra” between Kauravas and Pandavas that ended one age and began another.

The story has been passed down to us in a classical Sanskrit verse lines of 200,000.

Mahabharata is the longest Sanskrit epic.

GENEROSITY

Karna was the son of Kunti from the Sun God. One of the greatest warriors of Mahabharata.

 A man who would never refuse the request for any gift or donation to whomsoever at any situation.

COURAGE

Arjuna is the third of Pandava brothers.

Arjuna is the finest archer and a peerless warrior in the Mahabharata.

Though Arjuna was the supreme commander of Pandavas . He heard the words of Krishna and Yudhisthira for success in kurukshetra war.

COMMITMENT In Mahabharata,

Everyone was assigned a role and they did it with their limited capabilities.

Abhimanyu and Ghatotkatch sacrificed their life for their team.

Both of them contributed a lot. As Abhimanyu fought with 7 Maharatis single handed and Ghatotkatch took away half of Kaurava's army.

TRUE FRIENDSHIP

Karna is the trustworthy friend for Duryodhana. 

Though Karna was the eldest brother of Pandavas. He fought against them for his friend Duryodhana.

UNITY

Pandavas put team interest and each person was involved in every process.

They respect each other and use to listen to their commander and leader Arjuna.

They had a mission and a common goal and they worked for it.

DISCIPLINE Ekalaivan is tribal boy

who aspires to study archery in the gurukul of Dronacharya.

With discipline, Ekalaivan achieves a level of skill superior to that of Arjuna.

When his guru dronacharya demanded the boy to give his right thumb as gurudakshina, without any hesitation he gave.

PATIENCE

Yudhisthira eldest of Pandava Brothers.

Yudhisthira was trained in religion, science, administration and military arts.

Because of his patience he became good decission-maker of all others.

OBEDIENCE

Bhima is symbol of great strength.He is the second brother of pandavas.

He is very obedient to his Younger brother Arjuna and supported him in all situations.

Because of Bhima’s strength with his brother Arjuna. Kauravas could not do anything except losing.
