Listenerscan follow live from their computer orSmart Phone the video and audio ofpapal events like the WednesdayGeneral Audience, or the Sunday An-gelus, or the sequence of a day’sevents during a papal trip abroad,view the recordings “on demand”, andread the comments and related arti-cles accompanied by photos. A service entirely free of charge, thata collaboration between VaticanRadio and the Vatican TelevisionCentre has made possible. The Vatican Player has several func-tions:- WebRadio: allows you to follow thelive audio from your computer orSmart Phone of the traditional 5 net-works of Vatican Radio and the addi-tional channels set up for the languageradio commentaries of special events.- WebTV live and on-demand: in col-laboration with CTV, provides via webthe images of papal events transmit-ted by the Vatican Television Centre.- Video news or video clips: are videonews of one to one-and-a-half min-utes, regarding a specific activity ofthe Holy Father. To view the video
news with audio in the various lan-guages, just click on the miniatureimage with the title of the event insidethe calendar.- Vatican Tic: an extremely unique andinnovative agenda that indicates in ad-vance the Pope’s public engagements,so they can be followed by computeror iPhone, choosing comments and com-mentaries in various languages. Toknow the schedule of events or followthem live, just click on the date of theday of interest.Every day in starting up the Agenda,three papal engagements appear: thelast one that has taken place, thatwhich is going on (if there is one), andthe following. Clicking instead on aspecific date on the calendar, all thepapal engagements of that day aredisplayed. ha desarrollado un instrumento Webdedicado a él: el Vatican Player.A través de computadora o SmartPhone, los radio-escuchas podrán seguiren directo video y audio citas del SantoPadre como la Audiencia general de losmiércoles, el Ángelus dominical o bien lasecuencia de las actividades de un díade viaje al exterior y volverlos a ver ygrabarlos (on demand), y leer comen-tarios y servicios relacionados, a travésde fotos. Un servicio completamentegratuito, hecho posible gracias a la co-laboración entre Radio Vaticana y elCentro Televisivo Vaticano.El Vatican Player tiene varias funcional-idades:- WebRadio: permite seguir en audiodesde la computadora o Smart Phonelas tradicionales 5 redes de Radio Vati-cana y los nuevos canales activadospara las radio-crónicas en lenguas delos eventos especiales.- WebTV live e on-demand: en colabo-ración con el CTV permite ver, vía web,las imágenes de los eventos del Papatransmitidos por el Centro TelevisivoVaticano.- Video-news o video clips: son video-noticias de la duración de 1 a 1,5 min-utos, relativas a una específica actividaddel Santo Padre. sur les images en miniature en choisis-sant le titre de l’événement dans le ca-lendrier.- Vatican Tic : un calendrier unique etinédit, qui propose à l’avance les ren-dez-vous publics du pape, de façon àles voir sur son ordinateur ou SmartPhone, en choisissant sa langue. Pourconnaître les événements du calendrierou les suivre en direct, il suffit de cli-quer sur le jour qui vous intéresse.Chaque jour, sur la page d’accueil ducalendrier, sont répertoriées 3 activitésdu pape : le dernier événement, celuien cours, et celui à venir. Si vous cliquezsur un jour spécifique du calendrier,vous pourrez voir toutes les activités dupape du jour ainsi sélectionné.
