New York and visiting Vero, than living in Vero and

visiting New York.

Besides working at VBBC, Martha enjoys playing

bridge, reading, walking and of course travelling.

Recent trips include Burma and Kathmandu.

When asking others to describe Martha I heard

competent, kind, fun loving, interesting and

interested. She says she’s happiest when she’s

productive.

This bio is being done at the request of a few

members who want to know a little more about

our Club Manager, Martha Glassmeyer.

Martha was born in Jackson, Michigan and raised

in Bloomington and Belleville Illinois. She might

club members, David Hamman and Jay Prillaman

Belleville.

Martha’s Alma Maters include Cornell College in

Mt. Vernon, Iowa, St. Louis University Law School

and Columbia University, MBA.

After practicing Law for several years in Missouri,

Martha moved to the Big Apple to start a career in

Investment Banking.

Travel has always been a big part of Martha’s life.

In 1981 she travelled to China. one of her fellow

tour group members was Ed Glassmeyer. They

married four years later and Martha had an instant

family of four children and eleven grandchildren.

In 1987 Ed and Martha bought a place in Vero
