You want to run in Vienna on 14 April 2013? Go for it! The Vienna City Marathon impressed me a lot.I first ran in Vienna in 2011. The course is fast. The fantastic public and wonderful buildings were a delight. I would love to have a city like this back home in Ethiopia – so much culture, everything peaceful and clean. I also told Paula Radcliffe about it and said: “You have to run Vienna!” In fact, she came with me to the Vienna City Marathon in 2012 for a very special kind of race. Now there is another special event coming up because they’re celebrating the marathon’s 30th anniversary.

Don’t miss this chance!

I can’t recommend the organisation too highly and am sure that I’ll go back to Vienna one day. Perhaps it will be to run or simply with my family to go sight seeing!
