Os fãs não aguentavam mais esperar. Mas, finalmente, os irmãos Winches-ter estão de volta. A 11a temporada da

aclamada série Supernatural, até então iné-dita no Brasil, retorna ao Warner Channel, com novos episódios sempre às segundas. A VCP News conversou sobre o novo ano com os atores Jensen Ackles e Jared Padalecki, que interpretam Dean e Sam Winchester, em Van-couver, no Canadá, onde a série é gravada.

“Bom, a escuridão foi solta no mundo gra-ças à Marca de Caim, então, uma coisa é fato: quando se está no lugar mais sombrio possível, a situação só tende a melhorar”, brinca Jared. “Mas os garotos vão se unir novamente com o intuito, sempre, de proteger um ao outro, co-mo acontecia no passado.”

Jensen, aliás, diz que esse retorno às ori-gens era o que ele mais esperava para a 11a temporada, pois foi assim que a produção con-quistou sua enorme base de fãs. “O público vai nos ver em situações que lembram muito a pri-meira temporada, como dois irmãos se meten-do em brigas com demônios, sendo possuídos, obrigados a beber sangue, entre outras coisas. Eles caçam, salvam pessoas, olham para a es-curidão com o objetivo de dar conta dela.”

E mesmo depois de dez temporadas, Jared avisa: “Nós fizemos um episódio de um jeito que nunca fizemos antes. Uma experiência no-va, o que é incrível, já que estamos há tanto tempo no ar. Essa paixão, essa vontade de ino-var, é o que faz Supernatural se manter viva.” O episódio em questão é o quarto, chamado Baby. Não perca. •

eleventh season of Supernatural, still not air-ing in Brazil, will return to the Warner Chan-nel, with new episodes always on Mondays. VCP News talked about the new season with Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki, who play Dean and Sam Winchester, in Vancouver, Canada, where the show is filmed.

“Well, darkness has been released in the world thanks to the Mark of Cain, so one thing is for sure: when you are the in the darkest place possible, the situation can only get better”, Jared jokes. “But the boys will reunite trying to protect each other as they used to do in the past.”

Jensen says, adding that going back to the or-igins was the one thing he expected the most from this season 11, because that was how the show formed its huge fan base. “The audience will see us in situations that go right back to sea-son 1, as two brothers getting in trouble with de-mons, being possessed, forced to drink blood, among other things. They hunt, save people, look into the darkness and try to handle it.”

And even after 10 seasons, Jared warns: “We filmed an episode in a way we’ve never done it before. It was a new experience, which is al-ready a thrill, since we are so long in the air. This passion, this will to innovate is what makes Su-pernatural to keep alive.” The famous episode is number 4, and it is called Baby. Don’t miss it. •
