INTRODUCTIONIn this
power point we are going to explain how plants live.
Plant cellsThe type of cell
that plants have is:
Cellular vegetal.
The life cycle of plants Plants have two
stages: sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction.
Sexual cicle
Reproduction Two types of
reproduction: Sexual reproduction is
with flower. The male organs fertilize the femenine organs.
Asexual reproduction is with spores that are the seeds. When they fall down other plants sprout.
What doe plants eatThe main feature
that distinguishes plants from other beings is that they are able to produce their own food.
PhotosynthesisThe plant uses
the sun energy to convert water and carbon dioxide to make sugar and oxigen.
How plants breathe Just like people,
plants need air in order to live.
What plants need All plants have
basic needs: air, sunlight, water, and soil to grow. Different plants have different needs, depending on where they originally come from.
Plants get energy from the sun All plants need
sunlight. A special substance called chlorophyll is found in plant leaves. Chlorophyll allows plants to gather light from the sun ,which gives them energy.
