(The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (ARSA) acknowledges the Chancellor and cites) Madam Chancellor/Mr. Chancellor Sir, by virtue of the South Eastern Kenya University Charter, Part II, 9 (I) (a) and (b), the University has power to grant Diplomas and confer Degrees.
Madam Chancellor/Mr. Chancellor Sir, in the 2020/2021 Academic Year 1341 candidates satisfied the respective Schools' Board of Examiners and the University Senate for the award of various Degrees of South Eastern Kenya University.
1. SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE, ENVIRONMENT, WATER AND NATURAL RESOURCES DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
(The Dean acknowledges the Chancellor and reads the name of the candidate, the names of the supervisors and area of specialization. As the Dean reads out the name, the Candidate, escorted by the supervisors, should walk to the dias and kneel before the Chancellor)
