The gondolasA gondola is a traditional Venetian boat. A gondola is a classical Venetian boat. Nowadays it is mostly used for tourists, weddings and other ceremonies.Many tourists find the gondola rides to have very heavy on the pocket but worth it because of the scenery.The official set rate cost for a 50 minutes ride is 62. 62 euros converted to the Canadian dollar is $87.The base rate goes up to 77,50 after 8.00pm , which would be equal to $108.50 Canadian.A cheaper way out is taking a ride on the Traghetto, a ferry gondola. It only cost 40 cents. This ride is short but your allowed to stand up.Gondoliers are also willing to sing for you but at an extra cost. It only take on gondolier to row with one car.Gondoliers take great pride in their gondolas and pay around 20,000 for a well biult one, which will last for 20 years11SCENIC
