Theorderof thelists willbedeterminedby theway they are received in theExecutive Director̓semailinbox.•The timelimitwill be5minutesforaroutine.•After theperformercompletes hisorherroutinetheywillbeled tothefrontofthestagebytheMCtoreceive theircomments.• We will have three critique officials revieweach performanceandall threeofficials will givethe performer comments for improvement andencouragement. Aspotupfrontwill beprovidedfor the performer̓s designated videographer orcamera person to record ONLY that person̓sperformance and comments. Immediately afterthisperformerhasreceived hisorhercomments,thevideopersonmustvacate thedesignatedseatforthenextperformer̓svideo person.•A ballot for a “People̓s Choice Award”will begiven toeach personATTENDING theopenmicsessiontovotefortheirtopTWOfavorites ineachdivision. These ballots will be given outat thedoorandwillbeturnedintotheHospitality peoplewho will be collecting the ballots. You cannotleave and then return to the session with yourballot. Every year we try to choose a theme that works well for theventriloquist community. We try to encourage putting out theBEST vents to the viewing public that we can, and this year will bea banner year for the aspiring vent performer.

We have an all-star lineup of talent, not only lecturing and doingworkshops, but on the performing stage as well. Making atriumphant return is long-time pro WILLIE TYLER and LESTER.Not only will he be the closing act on Saturday’s “All-Star Show”but we willl be treated to a viewing of his new documentary film“Hello Dummy!”

Two favorites will also be appearing...JEFF DUNHAM and DARCILYNNE. Jeff will be lecturing on “YOU...Being Your Best !” , whichfits perfectly with our theme. Darci will be on hand to say helloand be interviewed by “Ye Executive Director,” but will also havea question and answer session after the interview. Two greatreasons to attend!

Combine all of that with having such talent on hand as TODDOLIVER, GARY HUNTER, MARK MERCHANT, DAN HORN,LIZ VON SEGGEN...and the list goes on and on, and you have areal winner of an eVENT ! If you want to “up your game,” this isthe ConVENTion that can do it !

TO REGISTER FOR YOUR ROOM: To be eligible to geta room at our special rate of $118.50 plus tax per night at theCincinnati Airport Holiday Inn, you must first be fully registeredfor the ConVENTion. You can either mail in the registration,along with the fees, or go to venthavenconvention.com anduse PayPal to register. After we receive payment we will sendyou a confirmation email that will give you a passkey code.The room reservations are being handled by the NorthernKentucky Visitor and Convention Bureau, and makes sure youwill be in the main hotel instead of an overflow hotel.

Dealers’ RoomsVent Haven ConVENTion 2020 is pleased to announce that wewill again have TWO full Dealers’ Rooms available with over 25Vent Dealers on hand. The two rooms are located on each endof the International Ball Room: Rooms V and VI and Rooms Iand II.

Driving / Flight InformationThe ConVENTion site (Cincinnati Airport Holiday Inn) is locatedin Northern Kentucky, just eight miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio.If you’re driving up from the south, take I-75 North and then takeI-275 West for one mile. Then Exit 2 to the hotel. From the north,take I-75 South until you get to I-275 West, go west one mileand take Exit 2. The nearest airport is the Greater Cincinnati/ Northern Kentucky International Airport. (Shuttle Phone 859-371-2233) The hotel is three miles away and offers a free shuttleservice to and from the airport.

This is the most fair way to dothis as we have overseas attendees who want to participatebut could not get in due to slow delivery time of their regularmail. You can sign up for our General Open Mic whenyou arrive. To give more people a chance to perform, wehave two different open mic times with 10 participants ineach session...20 in all.
