It’s the heart of the wild Vercors, no road and no inhabitants. The primary duty of the reserve is the protection of the biodiversity. This task is carried out by the presence of a permanent team of guards that monitor the flora and fauna. The guards have also an educational role, they teach to the visitors the objectives and the regulations of the reserve.
