Finding the Color For Your Vehicle

To determine the color for your vehicle, you need four (4) pieces of information:

1. Color Code (found on vehicle tag)

2. Color Name (Red, Black, Blue Metallic, Silver, etc.)

3. Vehicle Brand (BMW, Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Subaru, etc.)

4. Year

The color code is critical, because it allows for precise identification of your color. The rest of the info is needed for confirmation.

If your vehicle has been repainted with another color, the color code on the vehicle tag will not help identify the correct color for your vehicle.

The following pages are guides to locating your color code. Your color code is embedded in a vehicle tag somewhere in your vehicle. We have identified where to look for this tag (sorted from the most likely spot), and where to find your color code on the vehicle tag, for the majority of vehicles on the road today.

If you still cannot find your color code, use the VIN number for the vehicle (located on driver side dash – below the window) and call your local Car Dealership for help identifying the color code. You can also fill out the “Color Request Form” found on the Touch Up Zone web site and send to us. We will do our best in helping you find the right color for you vehicle.
