SAINTS BY HIS GRACE

In Christ, every born again Christians are saints through His

grace. The moment one believes in Jesus, he is a saint. Please read the

verses from Bible to understand what bible tells about us. Some

Churches declares few dead saints as saints in order to raise more

funds as these saints are

main sources of the income of Church. Now you do not need a Bishop to declare you as a saint, if you are born again Christian, you are a saint by His grace. Here is the hidden treasure in the Bible for you. Read the verses to understand what Bible tells about you:-

• (αγιος (Saint)hagios,hag'-ee-os, From αγος hagos (an awful thing) sacred (physically pure, morally blameless or religious, ceremonially consecrated): - (most) holy (one, thing), saint.)

Act 9:13 But Ananias answered, "Lord, I have heard many people tell how much evil this man has done to your saints in Jerusalem

Act 9:32 Now when Peter was going around among all of the disciples, he also came down to the saints living in Lydda.

Act 26:10 That is what I did in Jerusalem. I received authority from the high priests and locked many of the saints in prison. And when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them.

Rom 8:27 and the one who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, for the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to God's will.

Rom 12:13 Supply the needs of the saints. Extend hospitality to strangers.

Rom 15:25 Right now, however, I am going to Jerusalem to minister to the saints.

Rom 15:26 For the believers in Macedonia and Achaia have been eager to share their resources with the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.

Rom 15:31 that I may be rescued from the unbelievers in Judea, that my ministry to Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints,

Rom 16:2 Welcome her in the Lord as is appropriate for saints, and provide her with anything she may need from you, for she has assisted many people, including me.

1Co 6:1 When one of you has a complaint against another, does he dare to take it before the unrighteous and not before the saints?

1Co 6:2 You know that the saints will rule the world, don't you? And if the world is going to be ruled by you, can't you handle insignificant cases?

•Rom 16:15 Greet Philologus and Julia, Nereus and his sister, and Olympas and all the saints who are with them. •1Co 14:33 for God is not a God

of disorder but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints,

1Co 16:1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, you should follow the directions I gave to the churches in Galatia.

2Co 8:4 They begged us earnestly for the privilege of participating in this ministry to the saints.

1Co 16:15 Now I urge you, brothers-for you know that the members of the family of Stephanas were the first converts in Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to serving the saints-

•2Co 9:12 For this ministry you render is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but it is also overflowing with more and more prayers of thanksgiving to God.

2Co 9:1 I do not need to write to you any further about the ministry to the saints.

Eph 1:15 Therefore, because I have heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,

Eph 1:18 Then, with the eyes of your hearts enlightened, you will know the hope of his calling, the riches of his glorious inheritance among the saints,

Eph 2:19 That is why you are no longer strangers and foreigners but fellow citizens with the saints and members of God's household,

Eph 3:8 To me, the very least of all the saints, this grace was given so that I might proclaim to the gentiles the immeasurable wealth of Christ

Eph 3:18 you will be able to understand, along with all the saints, what is wide, long, high, and deep-

Eph 4:12 to perfect the saints, to do the work of ministry, and to build up the body of Christ (saints are not perfect people)

Eph 5:3 Do not let sexual sin, impurity of any kind, or greed even be mentioned among you, as is proper for saints. ( There is a chance that saints may commit sins if not controlled)

Php 4:21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me send their greetings to you.

Php 4:22 All the saints, especially those of the emperor's household, greet you. (All are saints)

Eph 6:18 Pray in the Spirit at all times with every kind of prayer and request there is. For the same reason be alert with every kind of effort and request for all the saints. (Saints needs prayers)

Col 1:4 because we have heard about your faith in Christ Jesus and the love that you have for all the saints,

Col 1:12 and might thank the Father, who has enabled us to share in the saints' inheritance in the light.

Col 1:26 This secret was hidden throughout the ages and generations but has now been revealed to his saints,

1Th 3:13 Then your hearts will be strong in holiness and blameless in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his saints.

2Th 1:10 when he comes to be glorified by his saints and to be regarded with wonder on that day by all who have believed-including you, because you believed our testimony.

Ti 5:10 She must be well known for her good works as a woman who has raised children, welcomed strangers, washed the saints' feet, helped the suffering, and devoted herself to doing good in every way.

Phm 1:7 For I have received considerable joy and encouragement from your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed, brother, through you.

Heb 6:10 For God is not so unjust as to forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have ministered to the saints and continue to minister to them.

Heb 13:24 Greet all your leaders and all the saints. Those who are from Italy greet you.

Phm 1:5 because I keep hearing about your love and the faith that you have toward the Lord Jesus and for all the saints.

Jud 1:3 Dear friends, although I was eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I found it necessary to write to you and urge you to continue your vigorous defense of the faith that was passed down to the saints once and for all.

Act 9:41 He gave her his hand and helped her up. Then he called the saints and widows and gave her back to them alive.

Rev 22:21 May the grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.

If you have understood that you are also a saint, his grace will be with you till the end otherwise it will not remain.

A saint is a holy person but by his grace alone.

2Co 1:1 From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God that is in Corinth, with all the holy people throughout Achaia.

• Eph 1:1 From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by God's will, to his holy and faithful people in Ephesus who are in union with Christ Jesus. • Eph 2:21 In him the whole building

is joined together and rises into a holy sanctuary in the Lord.

Eph 5:26 so that he might make it holy by cleansing it, washing it with water and the word,

Eph 5:27 and might present the church to himself in all its glory, without a spot or wrinkle or anything of the kind, but holy and without fault.

Php 1:1 From Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, to all the holy ones in Philippi who are united with Christ Jesus, with their overseers and deacons.

•Col 1:2 to the holy and faithful brothers in Colossae who are in union with Christ. May grace and peace from God our Father be yours!

Col 1:22 he has now reconciled by the death of his physical body so that he might present you holy, blameless, and without fault before him.

Col 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience.

1Ti 2:8 Therefore, I want the men to offer prayers in every place, lifting up holy hands without being angry or argumentative. (your hands are holy)

Heb 3:1 Therefore, holy brothers, partners in a heavenly calling, keep your focus on Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession.

1Pe 1:15 Instead, just as the one who called you is holy, be holy in every aspect of your life. (Holy people should remain holy)

1Pe 2:9 But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people to be his very own and to proclaim the wonderful deeds of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

1Pe 2:5 you, too, as living stones, are building yourselves up into a spiritual house and a holy priesthood, so that you may offer spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

Jud 1:14 Enoch, in the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied about these people when he said, "Look! The Lord has come with countless thousands of his holy ones. (not only the few declared by Churches)

Rev 22:11 Let the one who does what is evil continue to do evil, and let the filthy person continue to be filthy, and the righteous person continue to do what is right, and the holy person continue to be holy."

A Saint is a person who is sanctified by the blood of Jesus.

• αγιαζω-sanctify-hagiazo-hag-ee-ad'-zo to make holy, that is, (ceremonially)

purify or consecrate; (mentally) to venerate: - hallow, be holy, sanctify.• Joh 17:17 Sanctify them by the truth.

Your word is truth. (we are sanctified by the word of God)

1Co 6:11 That is what some of you were! But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God. (we are sanctified in the name of Jesus and in the Spirit)

• Act 26:18 You will open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light and from Satan's control to God, so that they might receive the forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified by faith in me.' (we are sanctified by faith in Christ Jesus)

Rom 15:16 to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the gentiles in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the gentiles might be acceptable because it has been sanctified by the Holy Spirit. (we are sanctified by Holy Spirit).

Heb 10:29 How much more severe a punishment do you think that person deserves who tramples on God's Son, treats as common the blood of the covenant by which it was sanctified, and insults the Spirit of grace? (we are sanctified by blood of Jesus)

Heb 10:10 By his will we have been sanctified once for all through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ. (we are sanctified once for all and need not be declared by church)

2Th 2:13 At all times we are obligated to thank God for you, brothers who are loved by the Lord, because God chose you to be the first fruits for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and through faith in the truth.

When we are sanctified by, word of God, name of Jesus, blood of Jesus, faith and Holy Spirit, who needs to be declared as a saint by human being? God has already declared and needs no human consent.

1Co 1:2 to the church of God in Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who continually call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ-their Lord and ours.

Act 20:32 "I am now entrusting you to God and to the message of his grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all who are sanctified.

1Pe 1:2 the people chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father through the sanctifying work of the Spirit to be obedient to Jesus Christ and to be sprinkled with his blood. May grace and peace be yours in abundance!

• Heb 13:12 That is why Jesus, in order to sanctify the people by his own blood, also suffered outside the city gate. • αγιος (Saint)hagios,hag'-ee-os• αγιος (Holy)hagios, hag'-ee-os• αγιαζω-sanctify-hagiazo-hag-ee-

Is it biblical to Pray to the saints.

We have seen that a saint is a saint by grace alone and not by their quality. We are all saints by grace. The dead saints were mere human beings but filled with Holy Spirit like us. The dead saints were never been Omni-present and never ever will be. They can never listen

to the prayers of any saints on the earth. Without God’s permission neither any one can go to paradise (2Cor 12:1-6) nor some one from Heaven can come to earth. As soon as they leave their body on earth, they are taken to Paradise and never come back. (Luke 23:43).

The most important point is that Jesus loved us and came down to earth and died for us. He is nearer than your cloth and if you are born again, He is in you. Praying to saints are like my son calling my distant relative in a foreign country to recommend something for him to me. You can imagine how much

it will hurt my feelings when my son is already staying with me. What is that type of relationship? That is what Christians are doing. The saints are resting in paradise without even knowing what is going on on earth.

-God is Father for all true Christians. No one is more closer to you than Him.

-We have permission to go to His presence 24x365 days. Why do you want to go to some one who never died for you?

- Is their any word in New Testament which permit you to pray to saints?

- Now you decide whether it is biblical to pray to saints and spend money for ungodly activity which angers God?

Bible says that there is no mediator for us other than Jesus. (1Ti 2:5 Heb 9:15 Heb 12:24 ).

1Ti 2:5 For there is one God, one mediator (there is no second mediator) also between God and men, himself man, Christ Jesus,

Heb 12:24 and to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaketh better than that of Abel.

Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of a new covenant, that a death having taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first covenant, they that have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

-Do you want to believe word of God which declares around 70 times that you are a saint or the Church that has a false teaching?

It is a true incident. One servant of God in Tamilnadu in India went to a meeting and one evil spirit appeared in a lady.

When asked by the servant of God about the name of the spirit, it told him that its name is mother Mary. So he told the spirit that Mary is sitting in heaven and you cannot be Mary. So it was asked to tell its true name.

Then she told the correct name of the evil spirit. It was a famous name of an evil spirit of that place. (2Co 11:14 And no wonder, since Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.)

When I discussed with one brother, he was telling me that he does sins even though he tries for a holy life. So the saints were more holier than him and God listens to them than this brother.

Actually I felt pity for him who does not know his position in Christ. He does not know what he is, how much God loves him, how much God cares for him. Bible says our good works are like a white clothe with stains. No man including the saints were not perfect.

Only Jesus is perfect. He stood in our place of sinner and took the punishment. We were placed in His position and as a saint by grace, going towards Everlasting life. You must know the fact that we have clothed Christ and God does not see you but Christ over you.

That is why He listens to you. If you are still depend on your good works, you are not believing in the work of Jesus for you. You are still trying to get something from God through your work which is considered as a sin.

Your good works are not for pleasing God, but it is the fruit of Holy Spirit through you. You can never ever please God by your works because what ever you do, you are still a sinner. So do not be depressed and go to saints for mediation,

but believe that God loves you particularly and you are in the same level of holiness with them. You know why God created man on earth? He created man to live with him personally. He does not want you to go to some one but He wants to talk to you directly and stay with you. whether you like Him or not, He loves you. May God bless you.
