Last year, when

Arancha and I were

But, worst of all, a

We ran fearfully.

Apparently, we lost

our way, but fortu-

nately, our mobile

we returned.

Years ago, I was

travelling with a

friend by plane. Af-

ter ten minutes fly-

hit by turbulence.

My friend went ab-

solutely hysterical,

so he started drink-

ing and shouting.

Then, most passen-

gers were freaking

out as well. Finally,

the aircraft had to

return to the air-

port. I thought,

“Never again”.

She had been

incredibly forgetful

lately, so she decided

to go shopping for

food to the same

market.

When she was cook-

the food was smelling

A DAY TO FORGET

Unfortunately, I had a lie-in a day with an important meeting.

When I was driving, I had a car crash. Apparently, the crash was

caused by an animal that suddenly had appeared from the right

side of the road. Eventually, it hit my car. It goes without saying

I didn’t make it.

Liza started to

shout when she re-

alized that the han-

dle didn’t work. For-

tunately, she wasn’t

alone.

Her mum phoned

fast to ask for help:

“my little girl is

trapped in the bath-

room”. That’s why

two fire trucks ap-

peared there within

minutes.

When they opened

the door, they saw

a 27-year-old “girl”.

Her mum had to

apologize. “She will

always be my little

girl”.

She can clearly remember it was a good day.

She was walking across the park with her dog when suddenly it started

raining. The dog ran away. She tried to find it in vain.

But, fortunately, at that moment, a boy arrived near her with her dog.

Eventually, itt was love at first sight.

A HOLIDAY ROMANCE

Last summer, Sally and Mary went on holiday to the Dominical Republic. The first night

they went straight to the nightclub. When they were dancing, two incredibly handsome

Italian boys bought them a drink. The following days, they had a good time enjoying

the scenery and one another’s company. They spent one amazing week among mojitos,

music and happiness.

They fell in love deeply but, unfortunately, holidays ended, and eventually all of them

returned home. It was only a brief affair.

THE LIE

Two years ago, I

went to a job in-

terview at a fa-

mous company, so

I changed my CV a

little. In fact, I

wrote in it that I

spoke Chinese

very well.

I had been waiting

for an hour when

the secretary

called me, and,

unfortunately the

interviewer was

Chinese.

A DAY TO

FORGET

I was the bes-

tman, so, to

be on time, I

drove fast to

the chapel.

Unfortunately,

I was fined

twice, first for

speeding, se-

condly for

crashing into a

traffic sign.

At the chapel

the guests

were waiting

angrily. But

worst happe-

ned when I

realised I had

lost the rings!

Page 3: Very short short stories

Last year I was best

man to a wedding. I

was late, so I was

fined twice for

speeding on my

way to church.

I was asked to

bring the wedding

rings, but I had for-

gotten them… For-

tunately, I had been

fixing the car that

morning, therefore

I had two big nuts

in my pocket…They

would do…

James was a guy look-

ing forward to working.

And that day finally ar-

rived.

Yes, that day did finally

arrive, but unfortunate-

ly he did not wake up

on time. He overslept.

He ran to the bus stop,

but incredibly, he

missed it. Eventually,

he arrived at the com-

pany for the interview…

however, his interview

was not that day. It was

the following day .

This happened in

a bathroom with a win-

dow overlooking a

courtyard. Suddenly, a

28-year-old woman

couldn’t open the door:

it was locked.

Her mother just called

999, asking for help for

her little girl.

In 15 minutes’ time,

there was a firefighter

at the bath window.

When the firefighter

saw the woman, he

yelled: “apparently, is

this the so called little

girl?”

Unfortunately, yesterday I had my worst

day. Incredibly, my alarm clock didn’t

work, so I was late. On top of that, I

missed the bus. My boss was very an-

noyed with me and so I was sacked. Even-

tually, I decided to go back home and,

suddenly, I noticed that I had lost my wal-

let.

An unexpected sunny December Sunday, to-

tally cloudless. Our favourite play was on at

the Jofre theatre. So, we finally decided to

walk to the theatre.

On our way there, lots of completely back

clouds appeared unexpectedly. The tickets had

sold out and, with no umbrella, we finally got

absolutely soaking wet that evening.

A DAY TO FORGET

Página 3 Vo lumen 1, nº 1

It was an incredibly

sunny day for

January. We deci-

ded to go to the ci-

nema walking be-

cause there was a

funny comedy that

we were looking

forward to seeing .

Unfortunately, the

tickets had been

sold out when we

arrived.

Finally, it began to

pour down with

rain. We had to wait

for long….
