PAINTINGExternal surface treat-ment performed on all standard vesselsAfter an accurate surface

preparation through chem-

ical washing or abrasive blasting, the product

is transferred to specific booths where

powder paints are sprayed with electro-

static or triboelectric spray guns. The proc-

essed product is then baked in curing ovens.

HOT GALVANIZINGInternal and external ves-sel treatment.Hot galvanizing is the prin-

cipal method of achieving

protection against atmo-

spheric agents and is performed by immersing

vessels in a bath of molten zinc. During this metal-

lurgical process, the surface composition chang-

es becoming an intercrystalline alloy between

zinc and steel that forms a very resistant, long-

lasting anti-corrosion coating. The thickness of

the protection depends on the type of material,

the immersion time and the temperature of the

zinc bath.ALM PAINTINGThis treatment is specif-ic for tank interiors and is performed by applying special protective paints that ensure high resis-tance to corrosive agents over time.Raw vessels first undergo

chemical washing and pickling and are then

sprayed with thermosetting epoxy resin before

completing the process with the final baking

stage in the oven. The ALM treatment is certified

according to the Ministerial Decree of 21 March

1973 and subsequent update of 6 April 2004,

regulating the hygiene of containers for foods and

substances for personal use.

PICKLINGAND PASSIVATIONInternal and externaltreatment for stainless steel vessels.Pickling is fundamental to

remove the oxide impurities formed during the

different processing stages.

Pickling systems are of two types: mechanical

and chemical.

The subsequent passivation causes the dissolu-

tion of any contaminants in the surface thus re-

creating the protective layer.

finishingCorrosion is a natural phenomenon resulting from reactions with water, gas or bacteria that cause the phys-

ical deterioration of materials and eventually compromise their functionality. Depending on the final use of

the tank, the internal or external type of surface finishing may change:

AIR vessels

Compressed air vessels serve for air storage and

distribution.

These products are used in two ways: most

commonly they are installed in a compressor

rack where they optimize the performance of the

compressor unit by keeping the demand of air flow

and air pressure by the different users constant;

secondly they are used in stand-alone applications,

near users with varying air demands to avoid load

losses or pressure drops in the distribution network

which could affect the proper functioning of the

connected equipment.

Compressed air vessels are made of carbon steel

in compliance with the requirements of Directive

105/2009/EC (former 87/404) for equipment where

the product of pressure and volume does not exceed

10000 bar/lt and according to Pressure Equipment

Directive 97/23/EC for equipment where the product

of pressure and volume exceeds 10000 bar/lt.

All vessels bear the CE marking.

vessels for PRESSURIZED WATER

Autoclave vessels are used in water systems to lift

and distribute pressurized water.

Since in this type of vessels the air cushion is directly

in contact with water, vessels must be equipped with

an automatic feeding system.

Autoclave vessels are produced in compliance with

the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, are of

carbon steel and hot galvanized.

All vessels bear the CE marking.

special projects

Our experience in innovative research and

development is the starting point for the

creation of highly customized and special

projects. Numerous customized works are

carried out in co-design or according to

the instructions of our technical department

so as to integrate our products with the

requirements and specific features of the

plants where they will be installed. Mounting

special flanges, manual welding and

customized steelwork elements are only a

few examples of customization available

for Baglioni’s products. And in the finishing

stage as well, products can be highly

personalized with a vast range of RAL and

with the aesthetic solutions of a smooth or

orange-peel surface finish.

general conditions of saleThese general conditions of sale are applied by the companies belonging to Gruppo Baglioni - CSC S.r.l., Aircom S.r.l., Coinox S.r.l., Comei S.r.l. - hereinafter referred to as “supplier”.

1) PURCHASE ORDERThe purchase order is received “SUBJECT TO PARENT COMPANY APPROVAL” and is conferred irrevocably for a duration of one month starting from the date of signature (art. 1329 of the Italian Civil Code). Purchase orders are deemed accepted only if confirmed by the supplier. Failure to confirm by our Company shall not constitute a contractual obligation.2) LIENThe ownership reservation is hereby expressly agreed for all goods and materials being supplied in favour of the supplier until settlement of the full payment of the sum due. Therefore the customer acquires the ownership only upon full payment of the supply but takes on the risks from when the material is first handed over to the carrier (art. 1523 of the Italian Civil Code).3) PAYMENTSThe prices indicated in the supplier’s price list apply and, subject to any changes in the market price, remain blocked only after our company’s confirmation. The supply is subject to the conditions set forth in commissions or offers once they are confirmed by our company. All payments shall be carried out in compliance with the terms and modes set forth in the purchase order (quotation and/or agreement). Payments not complying with the requirements or made to any third person or representative not expressly authorized in writing to collect shall be deemed not valid and/or effective. The supplier also reserves the right to delay the start of works or postpone the delivery if the customer has not settled all the payments due. The late payment of just one installment or a wrong or incomplete payment of price implies for the purchaser to be automatically declared in default and therefore to be obliged to pay all interests to Baglioni s.p.a. The issue of bills of exchange or other titles is made and accepted “subject to collection” and without prejudice to the clauses above.4) ACCELERATION AND EXPRESS TERMINATION CLAUSEFailure to pay even one of the installments and/or to pay within the deadlines results in the customer losing the right to pay by installments, if agreed, and gives the supplier the right to immediately request to settle the payment of the remaining sum (art. 1186 of the Italian Civil Code), or to deem the agreement definitely terminated pursuant to art. 1456 of the Italian Civil Code and therefore to request the immediate return of the goods and materials supplied.5) DELIVERY DATEThe delivery date is never binding. A delay never gives the customer the right to compensation or indemnification. The delivery shall be consi-dered as completed (even when the company undertakes the obligation to deliver carriage paid) once the goods are consigned to the carrier. The supplier undertakes to deliver the goods as long as any of the following impediments do not take place:a) Force majeure.b) Late delivery of raw materials.c) Customer requesting change or amendment to the features of the supply.d) Partial non-fulfilment o default of the Purchaser to pay even one of the installments. In these circumstances the delivery will be postponed for the time needed starting from when the impediment ends.6) WARRANTYAll the supplier’s products are guaranteed for the duration of 1 year from invoice date. This warranty binds our company to repair or replace only the faulty components - which shall be returned to us - and not to indemnify, refund expenses or compensate damage in any way.The warranty expires if the defects reported result from a failure to comply with the instructions of use provided with the products and with the working limits set forth in the declaration of conformity, such as for example working pressure and maximum temperature.7) SHIPMENT and TRANSPORTATIONThe goods are delivered ex works. Otherwise, transportation costs will be charged to the customer. In any case the shipment of goods is carried out at the addressee’s risk who, upon goods receipt, shall check in the presence of the transporter that the packaging is intact and that no item is missing or substituted. Any verified damage or loss shall be immediately reported to the carrier by accepting the delivery note conditionally and confirming such a conditional acceptance by means of a recorded delivery letter within eight days from goods receipt. Failure to comply with this clause will release the supplier from any liability.8) COMPLAINTSComplaints regarding missing goods or apparent defects are examined only if reported within eight days from goods receipt. Complaints shall be sent to the supplier by means of registered mail with return receipt.9) EXCLUSIVE COURTS OF JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAWThe place of jurisdiction for any litigation - with no exceptions - arising hereof will exclusively and solely be the Courts of Novara, with express exclusion of any other competing courts pursuant to art. 29 of Code of Civil Procedure. For any dispute concerning the interpretation, fulfilment and termination of this order the Italian Law will apply.10) APPLICABLE LAW AND LANGUAGEIt is hereby acknowledged that the language that regulates the order, these conditions and any other relationship is Italian.
