And also, many initiatives have been started as to implement the training aspect and extend it right to the chain project: the avant-garde campus, in Jolanda di Savoia (Ferrara - Italy), dedicated to high-level training, international conferences and events, organized with the aim of popularising, creating rapport, providing information and training, especially on agri-food-related themes and the use of advanced technology within the sector, with the presence and the intellectual contribution of the economic and political world. OCRIM has always believed that investing in Research & Development would be crucial to become a benchmark in the milling sector in terms of quality and expertise. Quality and innovation are the OCRIM projects’ main values. In fact, its R&D department experiments and carries out such advanced projects as to be renowned as unique in the milling sector. An added value derives from the partnership between OCRIM and some Italian universities, whose contribution is highly important to get benefits to the milling sector in general. OCRIM’s International School of Milling Technology was founded in 1965 and it has been considered one of the company’s flagships: it is renowned internationally and organizes training courses for the milling sector, run by the OCRIM staff (project manager, chemists, technologists, head millers, engineers and technicians), but also with the collaboration of lecturers and experts from the American headquarters of IAOM (International Association of Operative Millers). Theoretical courses are combined with practical experience, thanks to a mill – in the school - with capacity of 24 T/D and a well-equipped laboratory. OCRIM uses various communication instruments to convey its orientation. de producción de piensos y procesamientos de cereales en general. Además, la empresa destina amplio espacio e importancia a la investigación, a la formación, a la atención al cliente y a la comunicación.En la ciudad de Cremona, OCRIM dispone de dos sedes: la sede histórica, ubicada en la Via Massarotti, que alberga las oficinas y parte de la producción, y la sede ubicada cerca del puerto canal, donde se hallan algunos importantes departamentos de producción junto con las oficinas logísticas.OCRIM siempre se ha especializado en proyectos “llave en mano”, por ello sus clientes la consideran un socio fiable y completo. Desde 2015 OCRIM, en línea con el “sentimiento” Italian Made, se ha embarcado en un camino que ha llevado a la empresa a convertirse en un eslabón fundamental de la cadena agroalimentaria: la colaboración entre OCRIM y Bonifiche Ferraresi S.p.A., la mayor realidad agroalimentaria italiana, ha convertido OCRIM en un verdadero punto de referencia para toda la cadena de producción. De hecho, gracias a este importante acuerdo, en 2017 nació The Italian Agri-Food Chain Choice, la cadena italiana, que también incluye otras compañías de prestigio, cada una con su propia experiencia y su propio know-how. El propósito de esta importante opción es proponerse como un socios que trabajen con esmero, conscientes de la importancia del cultivo, del control y la gestión de la materia prima, es decir el trigo, que será procesada por las máquinas de producción OCRIM, antes de llegar a las mesas de los consumidores, en forma de pasta y de productos de panadería en general. Surgieron otras iniciativas importantes con el fin de mejorar el aspecto formativo y extenderlo al proyecto de la cadena de suministro: el campus futurista, ubicado en Jolanda di Savoia (Ferrara, Italia), dedicado a la formación de alto nivel, a la organización de eventos, conferencias y debates de envergadura internacional, cuyo propósito es divulgador, relacional, informativo y formativo, centrándose sobre todo en temas relacionados con el sector agroalimentario y el uso de tecnología avanzada dentro del mismo sector, con la presencia y la contribución intelectual del mundo económico y político.

OCRIM siempre ha creído que invertir en el sector de investigación y desarrollo seria una elección decisiva para convertirse en un punto de referencia en términos de calidad y competencia en el sector de la molienda. La calidad y la innovación constituyen los principales valores de los proyectos de OCRIM. El Departamento de Investigación y Desarrollo experimenta e implementa proyectos de vanguardia que pueden considerarse únicos en el sector de la molienda. Un importante valor añadido se deriva de la cooperación constructiva entre OCRIM y algunas importantes universidades italianas, cuya contribución es valiosa al fin de obtener resultados que aporten beneficios al sector de la molienda en general.La Escuela Internacional de Tecnología de Molienda de OCRIM fue fundada en 1965 y todavía sigue siendo considerándose una de las joyas de la corona de la empresa: conocida a nivel internacional, organiza cursos de formación para el sector de la molienda, tanto con el apoyo del personal de OCRIM (compuesto por gerentes de proyecto, químicos, tecnólogos, jefes molineros, ingenieros y técnicos), pero también con la colaboración de enseñantes y técnicos procedentes de la sede estadounidense de la IAOM (International Association of Operative Millers). Los cursos teóricos van acompañados de experiencias prácticas, gracias a la presencia de un molino, dentro de la escuela, con capacidad de 24 T/D y de un laboratorio bien equipado. Los medios de comunicación utilizados por OCRIM para transmitir su orientación son múltiples.
